Job Summary

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for planning, organizing and supervising the daily operations and activities related to; Shipping, Receiving, Inventory Management, Returns and Staffing. They will be responsible for conducting monthly safety trainings to ensure all health and OSHA safety regulations are being observed by the warehouse staff. Interfaces daily with multiple departments within QSC such as Purchasing, Planning, Service and Customer Care to ensure inbound and outbound shipments are processed timely. Works with Warehouse Manager to identify gaps and inefficiencies in order to streamline processes and procedures.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

  • Manages the completion of outbound orders, inbound receipts including RMA's and value added services throughout the Costa Mesa location. Responsible for the accuracy of inventory levels and records cycle counts daily. Conducts training of warehouse processes and procedures with all personnel and documents all non-conformances as needed.
  • Provide daily direction to warehouse staff, work with Warehouse Manager to identify any gaps in training and goal setting, conduct monthly one on one's, promote a continuous improvement culture, promote a positive teamwork atmosphere.
  • Works with the Technical Service Group and Customer Service reps to manage RMA returns. Coordinates transfer of material to QA and Production teams for inspection and rework of products as needed. Works with planning to coordinate the priority and completion of work orders and procurement of raw materials.
  • Conducts safety trainings to ensure warehouse personnel remains updated on OSHA and QSC safety guidelines.


Skills and Minimum Experience Required

  • High School Diploma Required, AA preferred
  • 5 Years of Logistics and Warehousing Experience, with at least 2 years of Lead/Supervisor experience preferred.
  • Must have forklift experience and be QSC certified within 6 months of hire date.
  • Requires the ability to work with little to no supervison.
  • Direct reports of warehouse staff and at times a temp labor force.
  • Oracle knowledge a plus.
  • Advanced Computer skills with Micrsoft (Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint).
  • Well developed oral and written communication skills, good interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to multi-task and have the ability to prioritize daily work activities based on availability of personnel and workload.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

The range for this position is $91,400.00 to $164,400.00. Placement within this range may vary, depending on the applicant's experience and geographic location.
