[Responsibilities]
Team Leadership & Workforce Management: Lead and develop a team of inventory associates, including cycle counters, replenishment staff, and put-away operators. Drive team performance through coaching, training, and accountability.
Inventory Accuracy & Slotting Optimization: Own inventory integrity across a high-velocity small-parcel fulfillment environment (10,000+ SKUs). Optimize bin and rack slotting strategies based on velocity and order profiles to reduce pick travel time and increase storage density.
Cycle Counting & Variance Resolution: Design and execute daily cycle count programs targeting high-risk and fast-moving SKUs. Investigate root causes of inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions to maintain accuracy at or above 99.5%.
Operational Oversight: Oversee all inventory movement activities, including put-away, bin-to-bin transfers, pick-face replenishment, and pallet consolidation. Maintain 5S standards across all storage and staging areas.
Workflow & Resource Planning: Balance real-time replenishment requests from outbound teams with scheduled counting and auditing tasks. Adjust labor allocation dynamically during peak hours to maintain SLA performance.
Reporting & Analytics: Generate and distribute daily/weekly inventory performance reports-including accuracy by SKU/location, replenishment timeliness, idle time, and aging analysis-to support operational decision-making.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with inbound, outbound, and quality teams to ensure inventory availability and location accuracy, minimizing fulfillment delays and supporting seamless order-to-delivery execution.
Safety & Compliance: Enforce safety protocols for equipment use (RF scanners, pallet jacks, etc.) and maintain a clean, organized, and audit-ready work environment.
