SummaryOur Inventory Manager owns the warehouse and inventory management processes, develops Warehouse Supervisors, shipping & receiving personnel and transport personnel. The Inventory Manager provides warehouse guidance and oversight for all inventory associates. They will ensure the efficient and accurate loading of trucks and the overall warehouse automation operations while providing guidance and oversight for all warehouse associates.
ResponsibilitiesInventory
- Manage Inbound/Outbound STO and PO process.
- Manage daily and weekly counts of full goods.
- Monitor demand and analyze data to anticipate future supply and logistical needs.
- Propose strategies to reduce costs and improve procedures of supply chain logistics.
- Review Day Supply reports for out-of-stock risks and communicate to Centralized Planning team.
- Assist and maintain appropriate inventory levels and product loss control.
- Collaborate with planners, shipping, receiving, and production partners to ensure appropriate inventory levels.
- Assist in reconciliation of inventory variances of full goods/ancillary items.
- Review/Audit product movement within facilities, i.e. check out/in procedures, breakage write-off process, and product recover/destruction process.
- Hire/Train/Develop inventory analysts and supervisors.
- Evaluate deliveries, shipments, and product levels to improve inventory control procedures.
Operations
- Staff, train, evaluate and develop team members. Ability to manage large team (100+) as well as leader of leaders, union environment.
- Supervise the daily activities of the warehouse.
- Schedule warehouse team members to meet the demands of the facility.
- Allocate necessary space for stock rotation.
- Oversee shipping and receiving functions as applicable.
- Secure company assets.
- Manage within labor and OPEX budget.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications- High school diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- 3+ years' warehouse and inventory experience required.
- Requires experience managing supervisory level employees.
- Intermediate PC and database skills.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems.
- Forklift certification a plus.
