Full Job Description
Eaton's ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Warehouse and Logistics Supervisor - 2nd Shift. This position is ONSITE 2nd Shift Monday -Friday 3:30pm-12:30am and weekends, as needed at our Greenwood SC (former Fugi Building) Eaton facility. Relocation is also being provided, if needed.

The Warehouse & Logistics Supervisor will lead operations of all aspects of warehouse/logistics to ensure work is completed in a safe and efficient manner. Responsible for supervising approximately 20 employees over our shipping area as well as our warehouse. Support the overall plant warehouse & logistics process which include receiving, warehousing, material movement, and packaging strategy. Investigate and respond to inquiries regarding distribution and shipping. Conduct inventory audits to monitor production and plant inventory levels. Arrange warehousing and transportation of products to customers. Responsible for on-time delivery performance and continuously focusing on reducing manufacturing lead-time for components and products.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $86000 - $126000 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

What you'll do:

In this role:
• Lead and oversee all daily warehouse operations, including the receipt, inspection, storage, distribution, and shipment of materials and finished goods, ensuring operational efficiency and accuracy.
• Manage inventory control processes to maintain accurate inventory records, minimize discrepancies, optimize stock levels, and support timely and efficient order fulfillment to meet customer and business requirements.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and productive warehouse environment by ensuring housekeeping standards, proper material storage, equipment maintenance, and compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
• Direct logistics and transportation activities, including planning, scheduling, and monitoring inbound and outbound shipments to ensure cost-effective and on-time delivery performance.
• Collaborate with carriers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to coordinate transportation needs, resolve shipping delays or service issues, and continuously improve logistics performance and customer satisfaction.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and development for warehouse and logistics team members, including onboarding, training, performance management, succession planning, and employee engagement initiatives.
• Drive a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement by enforcing company policies, conducting safety audits, leading 5S and Lean initiatives, and identifying opportunities to improve operational processes and efficiencies.
• Recognize and reward employee achievements while addressing performance concerns in a timely and constructive manner, fostering accountability, teamwork, and high performance across the department.
• Monitor, analyze, and report key warehouse and logistics performance metrics, including inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, shipping performance, labor productivity, and transportation costs, using data to drive informed decision-making.
• Partner cross-functionally with Production, Planning, Customer Service, Procurement, and other departments to ensure alignment of warehouse and logistics activities with overall business objectives and customer expectations.
• Ensure compliance with all company, customer, and regulatory requirements, including inventory controls, shipping documentation, DOT regulations, and applicable warehouse operating procedures.
• Support budgeting and resource planning activities by managing labor requirements, equipment utilization, and operational expenses while identifying opportunities to reduce costs and improve service levels.

Qualifications:

Basic REQUIRED Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing/industrial, distribution or warehouse/shipping environment.
  • 1+ years of supervisory experience
  • Must be willing to work Monday-Friday 2nd shift 3:30pm-12:30am and weekends as needed.
  • Must be willing to relocate to Greenwood SC. Relocation assistance will be provided, if needed.
