We are hiring for a Vulnerability Management Technical Support opportunity. Role: Vulnerability Management Technical Support Location: Remote Position: 1 Role Overview: We are seeking a proactive and customer focused Vulnerability Management Technical Support professional with hands on experience supporting enterprise vulnerability management programs. The ideal candidate will work closely with client agencies, internal stakeholders, and application teams to coordinate vulnerability scanning, troubleshoot scanning solutions, manage compliance assessments, and support remediation efforts using industry leading security tools. Key Responsibilities: • Coordinate vulnerability and compliance scanning activities with client agencies and internal stakeholders • Define scan scope, estimate timelines, schedule scans, and track project progress • Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Tenable One, Nessus, and TenableSC scan jobs, scanners, and agents • Deploy and support Nessus agents and scanners, including credential configuration and troubleshooting • Apply compliance and audit content, including CIS Level 1 Benchmarks and Palo Alto audit files • Review vulnerability scan results and communicate findings to stakeholders • Coordinate remediation efforts and manage re scans through successful closure • Explain vulnerability management processes, tool capabilities, and scan limitations to clients • Configure and troubleshoot web application security scans using TenableWAS, HCL AppScan, and Qualys • Collaborate with application development, networking, and firewall teams to establish scanning connectivity • Support monthly reporting, remediation tracking, exception management, and escalation of medium and high risk findings • Utilize Linux and Microsoft command line tools to configure scanners and troubleshoot issues • Resolve vulnerability management related incidents and service requests through ServiceNow Required Skills: • Experience supporting enterprise vulnerability management programs • Strong experience with Tenable One, Nessus, and TenableSC • Experience deploying and managing Nessus agents and scanners • Knowledge of vulnerability scanning and compliance assessments • Experience applying CIS Benchmarks and security compliance content • Experience with TenableWAS, HCL AppScan, and Qualys • Familiarity with Linux and Microsoft command line tools • Experience coordinating with networking and firewall teams • Experience using ServiceNow for ticket management and issue resolution • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem solving skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Self motivated with the ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities Preferred Skills: • Experience supporting enterprise security and compliance initiatives • Knowledge of vulnerability remediation workflows • Experience with application security testing • Familiarity with enterprise network infrastructure and firewall configurations Expected Deliverables: • Vulnerability and Compliance Scan Execution • Scanner and Agent Configuration • Vulnerability Assessment Reports • Remediation Tracking and Validation • Compliance Assessment Results • Monthly Security Reports • Technical Documentation and Support Deliverables Education Requirement: • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
