We are currently looking for a Field Service Engineer for our Vibration Test Systems team. Our new Field Service Engineer will be responsible for providing service to our customers across a wide range of industries including electronics, automotive, aviation, and aerospace at their facility to ensure our products remain functional with minimal downtime. Most customer sites are within the continental USA, but there will be opportunities to work and travel abroad. Must be a US citizen.
Primary responsibilities
Carrying out commissioning, maintenance and repairs of Hottinger Brüel & Kjær VTS equipment in accordance with company procedures.
Organize your trip to customers based on the schedule provided.
Write-up a summary of the actions done onsite, to be provided to the customer and documented in our CRM
Providing post-sales service to customers, resolving problems arising due to unfamiliarity with equipment and systems
Professional qualifications
This job requires the ability to understand (or willingness to learn) mechanical and electronic engineering as well as hydraulic and pneumatics systems.
Ability to assess and troubleshoot precise equipment to diagnose and perform necessary repairs.
Capability to dismantle and reassemble high precision equipment efficiently to minimize downtime for our clients.
Flexibility to travel to a client site with 48 hours' notice.
Microsoft Office proficient (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc)
Clean driving record
Business Proficiency or better in English

Compensation
The pay range for this position is $75,000 to $110,000 annually plus 10% bonus. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to the individual's qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as physical work location within the state.
