Full Job Description
A Day in the Life:

As Vice President, Walmart, you will lead Monster Energy's Walmart business, driving profitable growth, market share, and execution across one of the company's most strategic customers. Serving as the primary liaison between Monster Energy, Walmart leadership, and the Coca-Cola bottling system, you will develop and execute Joint Business Plans, strengthen customer partnerships, align cross-functional teams, and build a high-performing organization that delivers exceptional results.
The Impact You'll Make:
  • Serve as the primary lead point of contact and general manager for the Walmart relationship, owning the account P&L and delivering annual sales, share, and profit goals.
  • Lead the team that delivers the Joint Business Plan (JBP) with Walmart's merchant, operations, and marketing teams, translating category and shopper insights into an annual account plan with volume, distribution, and profit objective
  • Partner with the Coca-Cola bottler system to ensure Walmart specific programs, resets, and new item launches are executed with precision at store level
  • Build and maintain senior relationships with Walmart leaders and cross-functional leaders to strengthen the partnership and identify incremental growth opportunities.
  • Leverage Walmart's data platforms and syndicated data sources to develop account strategy, monitor performance against plan, and course-correct through quarterly business reviews.
  • Lead omnichannel strategy for the account, aligning in-store, Walmart.com, and bottler execution to drive growth across both the physical and digital shelf.
  • Direct pricing, promotion, and merchandising strategy for the account, ensuring plans are linked to volume and distribution growth while protecting brand equity and margin.
  • Evaluate the dedicated Walmart team's personnel needs and coach the account team (sales, category management, shopper marketing) to effectively manage the relationship.
  • Represent Monster Energy and its brands effectively to Walmart leadership and all constituencies, maintaining at all times a professional code of conduct in support of this. Execute special projects or assignments as directed by the
    Company.
Who You Are:
  • Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of -- Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or another related fields. Master of Business Administration (MBA).
  • Additional Experience Desired: More than 10 years of experience in Sales Management and Leadership
  • Additional Experience Desired: More than 10 years of experience in Sales and Beverage Industry.
  • Computer Skills Desired: Proficient with Microsoft Office, channel management tools, Partner relationship management (PRM) tools
  • Additional Knowledge or Skills to be Successful in this role: Familiarity with Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry.
  • Deep understanding of the sales process, market trends, and the intricacies of partner relationships.
