Position Overview:

The Zone Head of Verticals & Process Industries Transformation drives profitable growth across vertical markets with additional focus on process industries by translating the global vertical and PI lifecycle strategy into scalable, consistent execution across the Zone. The role is the central counterpart for Vertical processes and enablement based on use cases linked to Digital Threads and the Integrated Solution Model. It also focuses on anchoring the shift product-centric selling to lifecycle- and value-driven business models, ensuring systematic pipeline creation, disciplined steering, and adoption of global frameworks across all Lead Country Bundles (LCBs). Through strong governance, and Zone-level accountability, the role enables sustainable verticals and lifecycle growth and institutionalizes PI as a DI-wide priority

You will make an impact by:
  • Leading & Aligning Teams: Oversee Zone-wide Verticals and PI Transformation teams, driving governance, accountability, and consistent execution across LCBs.
  • Driving Sales Execution: Execute global vertical and lifecycle sales strategy, build pipeline, and convert opportunities into revenue through strong cross-functional and partner orchestration.
  • Delivering Business Results: Own revenue and growth targets, prioritize high-impact industries, and ensure disciplined performance management across the Zone.
  • Engaging Market & Customers: Champion vertical value propositions, act as executive sponsor for key initiatives, and feed market insights into global strategy.
  • Enabling Collaboration & Compliance: Partner across global and regional teams, enforce governance, share best practices, and support ongoing DI AUT transformation.

  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in technical sales or sales management roles
  • Demonstrated experience of 5+ years in strategic planning, go-to-market strategy development, and sales analytics
  • Deep knowledge of industrial automation technologies and a strong understanding of product lifecycle management
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Ability to travel

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proven ability to develop and manage high-performing sales pipelines.
  • Proven track record in business planning, forecasting, and market analysis
  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally as required
  • Experience in driving technology innovation and providing thought leadership in technical domains
  • Exceptional ability to lead and coach cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with a history of successful collaboration across multiple regions and functions
  • Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and problem-solving capabilities
  • Fluent in English; other languages beneficial

The pay range for this position is $250,000 - $300,000 annually with a annual incentive of 35% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location. This compensation range is only applicable to U.S. based applicants.
