Full Job Description
As an effective communicator based in New York, the Vice President, Multimedia Sales provides strategic, consultative direction to TelevisaUnivision clients in various TelevisaUnivision platforms. Comprehensively develop and execute the company's short and long term sales strategy to deliver outsized market results in accordance with TelevisaUnivision's multimedia revenue goals. The role will manage Account Executives and support staff in a larger multiplatform sales strategy.

The VP, Multimedia Sales will play a critical role within our fast-paced advertising sales team, with a focus on driving revenue. They must have experience in multi-platform sales including Audience/Advanced TV, Streaming/OTT, Social, Digital and Linear. This role will be responsible for maintaining and growing existing accounts while simultaneously cultivating and growing new client relationships, driving complex deals, and creating new business opportunities.

YOUR DAY-DAY:
  • Maximize DR revenue utilizing national and local breaks
  • Cultivate relationships and service new and existing key accounts to increase revenue
  • Responsible for delivering sales targets on a quarterly and annual basis
  • Represent Univision Portfolio in relationships and deals
  • Help lead negotiations internally and externally as necessary
  • Manage the performance of Multimedia Account Executives and the sales support team, as well as develop the competencies of direct reports
  • Execute sales strategy across Univision platforms to maximize revenue
  • Make deal decisions on assigned brands that align with the business needs
  • Work with account executives, marketing, and pricing & planning teams to develop integrated packages and programs for RFPs and proactive client pitches
  • Best in class external communications (client/agency)
  • Solution based selling by matching client needs and key Univision properties and strategic initiatives
  • Negotiating and working with senior managers, account executives, as well as clients and agency contacts
  • Ensures seamless execution with content teams, as well as events and league partners, ensuring successful implementations for all buys and renewals of all business
  • Ongoing account management for existing clients, to ensure continued agency /customer satisfaction
  • Evaluate, plan and present any/all new opportunities to help determine viability for business/revenue potential
  • Responsible to delivering their sales targets as provided by the EVP of Multimedia sales


YOU HAVE:
  • Bachelor's degree or extensive, directly related experience may be considered in lieu of degree
  • 10 + years sales/sale management experience required
  • 2+ years of product knowledge in multi-platform sales including Streaming (OTT); Audience/Advanced TV; Digital, and Linear
  • Dynamic personality with ability to work well with others in a team environment
  • Effective relationships within the ad sales business community
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish desired, but not required
  • Prior management/team leadership experience, preferred
  • Excellent executive-level presentation, leadership and interpersonal skills, as well as influencing skills
  • Strong problem solving, analytical capabilities and collaboration skills


ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must be willing to work from office in New York, NY
  • Employment/education will be verified
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a fulltime basis
  • Time flexibility required to interact with people in different geographical locations, and work extended hours, sometimes on short notice due to project deadlines
  • Must be willing to attend after-hour client events
  • Ability to travel nationwide if necessary to attend client meetings, conferences, seminars and industry events

SALARY RANGE

Base Salary- $180,000-210,000 + Bonus + Benefits. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Please note the national salary range listed in the job posting reflects the new hire salary range across levels and U.S. locations that would be applicable to the position.
