Full Job Description
The VP, Product Partnerships, BD & Partner Management will own partnerships across Small Business, Mid-Market, and Services. The mandate is to deepen and scale the partnerships Intuit already has, and land the larger, platform- and company-level partnerships that connect Intuit's products to more of the tools customers rely on.

Responsibilities

Strategy & Portfolio Leadership: Set the overall partnerships strategy and roadmap across new business development and partner lifecycle management. Have a builder mentality and decide where to invest - which partner segments, verticals, and deal types drive the most value for Intuit's ecosystem.

Business Development Oversight: Own sourcing, negotiation, and closing of new product partnerships and revenue opportunities from Intuit wide partnerships to small business mid-market, and services specific deals. Build and nurture executive-level relationships with prospective strategic partners and lead deal structuring, contract negotiation, and market/opportunity sizing across new markets.

Partner Management & Lifecycle Ownership: Own the ongoing relationships with existing ISVs and platform partners across QuickBooks and Mailchimp, well beyond deal close. Guide partner enablement programs, co-marketing, and cross-functional coordination with product, sales, marketing, and legal.

Cross-Functional & Organizational Leadership: Build, develop and lead a high performing team of across commercial dealmaking and relationship management. Ensure close coordination and tight handoffs between deal-closing and partner enablement.

Executive Stakeholder Management: Represent the partnerships organization to senior leadership, translating partner strategy into business outcomes. Own escalations for the largest or most strategic partner relationships.

Qualifications

Business Development & Deal-Making: Proven ability to source, negotiate, and close partnership agreements across the full range of deals from small but strategically critical deals to large scale enterprise wide.

Integration-Led Partnership Strategy: Deep understanding and successful track record in building and scaling product partnerships within a tech company environment where partnerships are foundational to the company's strategy. Demonstrated experience prioritizing which platforms to integrate with, how to structure those deals, and how to tie integration depth to customer retention and expansion. Able to translate partnership strategy into business outcomes.

Data Partnerships: Deep experience negotiating and leveraging data assets in a highly strategic way - structuring data-sharing, data-access, and data/agent partnerships that create mutual value while protecting trust and competitive position. Comfortable operating this kind of deal across both mid-market and enterprise, with relationships spanning major tech platforms, vertical SaaS players, and AI-native startups.

Embedded & Retail/Digital Distribution Partnerships: Understands how a company's product experiences surface inside other companies' products, including freemium/embedded distribution, OEM arrangements, hardware- or purchase-linked discounts, and has applied that thinking in retail or digital contexts to drive measurable customer growth.

Partner Ecosystem Management at Scale: Experience running a partner portfolio programmatically, covering tiering, enablement, performance tracking, and growing partner-sourced pipeline, across both mid-market and enterprise segments, managing strategic named partners alongside a long tail of smaller integrations.

Cross-Functional Influence: Strong track record of working alongside Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing to embed partnerships into the core business. This means getting integrations on roadmaps, aligning co-sell motions with Sales, and influencing without direct authority.

Team & Executive Leadership: Demonstrated success building and leading a team of Partner Managers and/or Partner Development leads. Comfortable engaging CEOs and other C-level counterparts at partner companies and representing the function to senior leadership.

Exceptional Communicator: Ability to craft compelling narratives, articulate strategic vision, and deliver data-driven recommendations to executive audiences.

Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. This position may be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at ). Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. To drive ongoing fair pay for employees, Intuit conducts regular comparisons across categories of ethnicity and gender.
The expected base pay range for this position is:
