Full Job Description
In addition, The Product Operations Leader will be responsible for directly supporting the USIS Chief Product Officer with information and communications of portfolio level KPIs, manage development of product investment budget and overall operating rhythm of USIS Product Management. What you'll do
  • As the defacto COO, partner with Chief Product Officer, Product Leadership Team, other BU stakeholders, and COE stakeholders to translate business goals into specific Product strategic imperatives and executable plans
  • Working across the product leaders, set strategic direction for OKRs of Product Operations to achieve key product and organizational outcomes
  • Serve as the USIS Product Management subject matter expert, handling inquiries and developing action plans to address; prepare and disseminate communications
  • Develop and drive the implementation and enforcement of standard processes and procedures across Product to ensure efficiency, consistency and clarity across the team
  • Improve product innovation through ownership of USIS New Product Innovation program from ideation to revenue/investment tracking to meet USIS and Enterprise Innovation goals
  • Leverage considerable product knowledge to breakdown key pillars of product discipline documentation efforts, maintains sponsorship over activities to oversee effective execution framework is established and executed
  • Demonstrate thought leadership and influence stakeholders to mature tooling from a product-focused standpoint
  • Lead multiple strategic change initiatives through team(s) to transform product mindset and culture (Ex. communications, collaboration, informed and engaged workforce)
  • Builds Product Operations team and serves as the sponsor for Product Management Rotational Development Program to support development of future Product Management talent
  • Drive and manage the performance of product operations team members, providing coaching, development and mentoring to ensure their successful leadership/influence of the Product Management team
What experience you need
  • Bachelor's degree (Graduate degree preferred) and 10+ years of progressive experience in Product Management, Product Operations, or Management Consulting, with at least 5+ years in a senior leadership capacity.
  • Proven track record of building and leading high-performing, cross-functional teams within a complex, matrixed organization to drive innovation and product excellence.
  • Exceptional ability to influence C-suite and senior stakeholders; experienced in aligning diverse perspectives to drive strategic imperatives without direct authority.
  • Deep expertise in designing and implementing organizational frameworks (e.g., OKRs, operating rhythms, and product development lifecycles) to ensure efficiency, consistency, and scalability.
  • Strong proficiency in financial management, including P&L oversight, investment budget development, and tracking revenue/portfolio KPIs.
  • Is a thought leader delivering executive level presentations and visual communication to convey the product vision
  • Demonstrated success in leading large-scale organizational change initiatives, including transformation and complex programs.
