Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Focus on retention and growth of current book, exploring ways to expand and enhance client relationships
- Partners with growth and sales team members on new business strategies and opportunities to add new client logos
- Participates in new business opportunities to help secure new logos
- Understands the marketplace and emerging trends impacting clients and prospects
- Supports the onboarding of acquisitions to fold into the Mid Atlantic region
Participates in local industry events and seeks opportunities to promote NFP in the marketplace.
- Acts as escalation point for challenging client situations and serves as executive sponsor on key client relationships as necessary.
- Participates in developing workstreams and the effective implementation of NFP's Target Operating Model.
- Collaborates with business line leaders to drive and support key regional and national initiatives; holds team accountable.
Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities: - Comprehensive knowledge of carrier products and services, industry trends, benefits administration, regulatory compliance and HealthCare Reform
- Ability to work independently and anticipate client and team needs
- Effective project management, time management and organizational skills
- Strong analytical and financial skills
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to outstanding client service
- Ability to express ideas clearly in both written and oral communications
- Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Commanding presentation and public speaking abilities
Education and/or Experience: - A Bachelor's Degree in Risk Management, Business, Finance or a related field preferred
- 10+ years health and welfare consulting experience
Certificates, Licenses, Registration: - Life, Accident and Health Insurance License required
- GBA or CEBS Certification a plus

The base salary range for this position is $130,000 - $230,000. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
