Responsibilities Position Summary

The Vice President, Airline Revenue Management & Partner Relations is responsible for developing and executing strategies that maximize airline revenue, strengthen supplier partnerships, and drive business growth for Altour. This executive-level role serves as the primary liaison among airlines, airline partners, business units, and clients, ensuring alignment of commercial objectives, contractual obligations, and revenue optimization initiatives.

The role requires strong analytical capabilities, executive presentation skills, and the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders while leading strategic airline programs, supplier negotiations, and revenue growth initiatives.

 

Key Responsibilities Airline Revenue Management
  • Develop and execute airline revenue strategies that maximize commissions, overrides, incentives, and preferred supplier participation.
  • Monitor airline contract performance and identify opportunities to improve market share, yield, and profitability.
  • Lead forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis for airline revenue streams.
  • Analyze booking behavior, ticketing trends, and airline performance metrics to drive revenue optimization.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and Business Units to ensure accurate revenue reporting and performance tracking.
Airline Partner Relations
  • Serve as the senior relationship manager for strategic airline partners for Altour.
  • Collaborate with the RM Team for negotiations of airline agreements, performance targets, incentive programs, and commercial initiatives.
  • Identify new partnership opportunities that enhance customer value and organizational profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual commitments, reporting obligations, and airline program requirements.
Client & Executive Presentations
  • Develop and deliver executive-level presentations for clients when requested by Altour Management.
  • Present airline market trends, revenue performance, supplier strategies, and program results to Altour stakeholders.
  • Create compelling business cases supporting new initiatives, investments, and partnership opportunities.
  • Represent the organization at industry conferences, airline events, supplier forums, and client meetings.
Strategic Leadership
  • Implement long-term airline commercial strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives involving airline relations, distribution, technology, operations, and sales teams.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on industry developments including NDC, GDS distribution, airline retailing, and revenue optimization.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and partner satisfaction.

 

 

Qualifications Qualifications Education
