Full Job Description
Job Description

Aramark is seeking a Vice President of Marketing to build and lead the go-to-market, brand, and growth strategy for one of Aramark's fastest-growing lines of business.

This is a builder role. We are looking for a marketing leader who is energized by creating something from the ground up. The Vice President of Marketing will help determine where the line of business grows, how we enter new markets, how we position the business, how we create demand, and how Marketing partners with Sales to win.

For the right leader, this is a rare opportunity to help build a new line of business from the ground up while leveraging the scale, capabilities, and resources of Aramark. You will have the opportunity to shape the brand, establish the go-to-market strategy, build the marketing infrastructure, and directly influence where the business expands next.

The Vice President of Marketing will work at the intersection of B2B marketing, growth strategy, market development, brand strategy, product marketing, demand generation, and sales enablement. This leader will partner closely with Sales and senior leadership to identify and size new markets, develop differentiated positioning, create market-entry strategies, support major pursuits, and build programs that generate awareness and commercial opportunities.

We need someone who can operate at both the strategic and execution level. You may be developing a multi-year growth strategy one day and working directly on competitive analysis, customer messaging, an RFP strategy, campaign, sales presentation, or market-entry plan the next.

The right person has built growth strategies before. They know how to take a developing business, determine where it can win, create a clear market position, and turn that strategy into measurable commercial activity.

This role requires approximately 25% travel, with travel expected to be closer to 50% during the initial onboarding period to support training, team integration, and business acclimation.

Job Responsibilities

Go-to-market and growth strategy
  • Build and lead the overall go-to-market strategy for Aramark Nexus, including market priorities, customer segments, positioning, and annual growth initiatives.
  • Translate Nexus business objectives into clear marketing, demand-generation, and commercial strategies.
  • Partner with Nexus leadership and Sales to determine where the business should focus resources and investment.
  • Establish measurable goals for market penetration, pipeline contribution, demand generation, and marketing effectiveness.

Market expansion and intelligence
  • Identify, evaluate, and size new industries, markets, customer segments, and growth opportunities.
  • Develop market-entry strategies.
  • Build a disciplined approach to market research, segmentation, customer insights, competitive intelligence, and industry trends.
  • Evaluate new products, services, and solutions and develop strategies to successfully introduce them to the market.

Brand and value proposition
  • Build and continuously strengthen the Aramark Nexus brand, value proposition, and market position.
  • Define clear differentiation and customer messaging across industries, markets, and buyer audiences.
  • Translate complex Nexus capabilities into simple, compelling business value for customers.
  • Ensure consistent positioning across digital marketing, campaigns, proposals, presentations, events, thought leadership, and sales materials.

Responsibilities Continued

Sales enablement and major pursuits
  • Serve as a strategic marketing partner to Nexus Sales on major pursuits, account strategies, RFPs, and proposals.
  • Develop account-specific positioning, messaging, and commercial content for high-value opportunities.
  • Bring customer, competitor, and market intelligence directly into pursuit and sales strategy.
  • Build sales enablement tools and content that help generate conversations, differentiate Nexus, and win business.

Demand generation and marketing execution
  • Build and lead demand-generation programs across digital marketing, content, email, events, industry conferences, thought leadership, and targeted campaigns.
  • Develop campaigns tied directly to priority industries, customer segments, and growth objectives.
  • Test, measure, and refine marketing programs based on engagement, pipeline contribution, and business results.
  • Determine the right mix of channels, content, technology, agencies, and resources needed to accelerate growth.

Build and lead the marketing function
  • Build the marketing capabilities, processes, tools, technology, and infrastructure required to support a rapidly growing business.
  • Operate comfortably between executive-level strategy and hands-on execution in an entrepreneurial environment.
  • Partner across Sales, Operations, Finance, Strategy, Communications, and Aramark Enterprise Marketing.
  • Build and lead additional marketing talent and capabilities as Nexus continues to scale.

Qualifications

We are looking for a builder who has helped create and grow a business, business unit, product, service, or new market.

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Strategy, or a related field.
  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience across B2B marketing, go-to-market strategy, growth marketing, market development, product marketing, brand strategy, or commercial strategy.
  • Proven experience building and executing a go-to-market strategy for a growing business, business unit, product, or service.
  • Demonstrated success identifying, sizing, entering, and growing new markets or customer segments.
  • Strong experience with market research, segmentation, competitive intelligence, customer insights, and market strategy.
  • Experience developing differentiated value propositions, market positioning, and customer-facing messaging.
  • Demonstrated experience launching new products, services, solutions, or market offerings.
  • Experience partnering directly with Sales on major pursuits, RFPs, proposals, account strategies, and sales enablement.
  • Experience building demand-generation programs for complex B2B services or solutions.
  • Ability to translate market data and customer insight into clear business recommendations and action.
  • Ability to move quickly between strategy and execution without requiring a large established team or infrastructure.
  • Strong executive communication, presentation, business partnership, and influencing skills.

The strongest candidates will have worked at the intersection of marketing, growth, strategy, and sales and can demonstrate how they helped build something new, enter new markets, create demand, and contribute to measurable business growth.
