VP of MarketingAs VP of Marketing, you'll own Civitas Learning's marketing function end-to-end - setting the strategic direction, running the organization, and building the team that carries it out. You'll be the owner of brand, demand generation, and customer engagement strategy, translating company-level growth objectives into a marketing plan that materially moves revenue, pipeline, and market position. You'll operate as a peer to Sales, Product, and Customer Development leadership, and as a key voice in company-wide strategic planning.
What you will do as a VP of Marketing: - Own and evolve Civitas Learning's marketing strategy, setting multi-year direction in partnership with the executive team and translating company goals into an actionable marketing roadmap.
- Build, resource, and govern the marketing organization - owning budget planning, vendor relationships, and operational infrastructure across the function.
- Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing marketing leadership team, building depth across brand, demand gen, product marketing, and marketing operations.
- Set the demand generation and pipeline strategy across channels, holding the function accountable to pipeline, acquisition, and revenue-contribution targets.
- Own brand strategy and market positioning for Civitas Learning, elevating the company's presence and thought leadership across the higher education market.
- Serve as the point of alignment with Sales, Product, and Customer Development leadership, ensuring marketing strategy is embedded in company-wide go-to-market planning.
- Bring a point of view on market trends, competitive dynamics, and customer insight to leadership-level conversations, shaping company strategy beyond marketing alone.
- Define the marketing measurement framework - establishing the KPIs, ROI models, and reporting cadence the executive team uses to evaluate marketing performance.
