Full Job Description
Soni is partnering with a high-growth international technical services organization on a confidential search for a Vice President of Human Resources.

This person will serve as the top U.S. HR leader and partner directly with executive leadership to build the HR structure needed for continued growth. The role will focus on HR operations, talent strategy, M&A integration, culture, systems, and scalable process improvement across a growing multi-site business. The ideal candidate is a hands-on HR builder who can create structure, move quickly, and support both corporate and field-based teams in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities:
• Lead the U.S. HR function and partner directly with executive leadership
• Build scalable HR processes, programs, policies, and infrastructure
• Support M&A integration, including onboarding, communication, culture alignment, and process standardization
• Partner on workforce planning, talent strategy, organizational design, and succession planning
• Oversee employee relations, performance management, compliance, onboarding, and HR operations
• Strengthen culture across corporate, field-based, and acquired teams
• Improve HR systems, reporting, automation, and people-related workflows
• Identify opportunities to drive efficiency through technology, process improvement, and AI-enabled productivity
• Manage and mentor existing HR support while helping scale the function

Requirements:
• 10+ years of progressive HR experience
• Experience leading an HR function, major HR workstreams, or HR transformation initiatives
• Strong background building HR structure, processes, and programs in a growing organization
• Experience with M&A integration, change management, or post-acquisition employee integration
• Multi-site, field-based, project-based, or service-oriented workforce experience
• Hands-on generalist background across employee relations, talent, compliance, performance management, onboarding, and HR operations
• Strong HR systems experience with the ability to improve reporting, workflows, and employee data processes
• Strategic but hands-on, with strong business partnership and executive presence
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities

Preferred Skills:
• Experience in construction, construction services, AEC, technical services, field services, trades, industrial services, or another project-based environment
• Experience working with an international parent company or global HR leadership
• Paylocity experience
• HR certification or advanced degree
• Experience scaling an HR function through growth, acquisition, or organizational change

Compensation: $190,000 - $230,000
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
