Full Job Description
Position Title: VP of Finance

This is an opportunity to step into the highest-level finance role within a stable, established organization and work directly with ownership on the decisions shaping the business. We are seeking a VP of Finance to lead strategic finance across a significant multi-location restaurant operation and commercial real estate portfolio. Partnering closely with the Owner and COO, this leader will own cash flow forecasting, financial planning, debt and financing strategy, financial modeling, capital structure analysis, and evaluation of major investments and business opportunities.

The ideal candidate is a strategic, highly analytical finance leader with 7-10 years of experience in a multi-location retail or restaurant environment who understands how to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable business decisions.

Salary Range: $180,000 - $200,000 / Year, DOE + Bonus: 10-15% of base salary

Responsibilities
  • Partner directly with the Owner and COO on financial strategy, business planning, and major financial decisions
  • Develop and manage cash flow projections, liquidity planning, and cash forecasting across the organization
  • Analyze debt, leverage, financing options, and capital structure while leading key debt and financing initiatives
  • Own budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning across the restaurant and real estate businesses
  • Build financial models to evaluate acquisitions, capital expenditures, real estate investments, and other major business opportunities
  • Analyze financial performance and provide leadership with clear insights and recommendations to drive stronger business decisions
  • Monitor working capital, debt obligations, liquidity, and the overall financial health of the organization
  • Collaborate closely with the Controller and accounting team while maintaining ownership of strategic finance initiatives
  • Improve financial processes, reporting capabilities, and systems to support continued growth

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field required
  • 7-10 years of progressive finance experience
  • Experience within retail, restaurant, or another multi-location operating environment required
  • Strong understanding of debt, leverage, financing, and capital structure
  • Demonstrated experience with cash flow forecasting, financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate complex financial opportunities and risks
  • Ability to clearly communicate financial information and recommendations to non-financial executives
  • Comfortable operating independently as the organization's senior strategic finance leader
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook
  • Experience working with financial software and the ability to help select or implement new systems
