This role partners closely with Sales, Business Development, Product Line Management (PLM), Finance, and cross-functional leadership teams to ensure disciplined execution, forecasting accuracy, governance excellence, and organizational agility across key hyperscaler accounts.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Business Operations & Governance
  • Lead the operational management of the Hyperscaler Sales business through a structured cadence of weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual business reviews.
  • Establish and manage the operating rhythm for the organization, ensuring alignment across stakeholders and timely decision-making.
  • Drive weekly forecast reviews and ensure forecast accuracy through proactive pipeline management and executive reporting.
  • Coordinate and facilitate weekly and monthly operational reviews with Optical Networks (ON) and IP Business Development teams.
  • Lead monthly governance reviews and executive reporting processes, providing clear visibility into performance, opportunities, risks, and actions.

Strategic Planning & Account Execution
  • Drive account planning reviews for strategic hyperscaler customers, ensuring alignment of sales objectives, growth initiatives, and resource prioritization.
  • Partner with Product Line Management (PLM) teams to manage program reviews and strategic initiatives for both existing and targeted hyperscaler programs.
  • Support Long-Range Planning (LRP) activities, including demand forecasting, opportunity assessment, and growth planning by hyperscaler, application, and market segment.
  • Translate strategic goals into actionable operational plans with measurable outcomes.

Process Excellence & Organizational Effectiveness
  • Identify and implement improvements to internal processes, systems, tools, and organizational structures to increase speed, scalability, and execution effectiveness.
  • Develop operational frameworks and best practices that drive consistency, accountability, and business agility.
  • Create executive dashboards, reporting mechanisms, and performance metrics to support data-driven decision making.

Execution Management & Accountability
  • Ensure effective tracking and closure of business-critical action items across functions and leadership teams.
  • Establish clear ownership, milestones, and execution timelines while holding stakeholders accountable for commitments.
  • Proactively identify risks to execution and drive corrective actions to maintain momentum on strategic initiatives.


AI & Digital Transformation
  • Champion the adoption of AI-enabled tools and automation to improve business operations, reporting efficiency, and decision-making.
  • Drive the use of AI for meeting summaries, action-item generation, ownership tracking, executive reporting, and workflow optimization.

Identify opportunities to leverage digital technologies to enhance organizational productivity and operational effectiveness

  • Strong expertise in Optical Networking and/or IP Networking technologies.

  • Proven track record of driving operational excellence, forecasting discipline, governance processes, and cross-functional business execution.
