  • Ensure inventory and cost accounting are accurate and support operational visibility into manufacturing margin performance;
  • Prepare consolidated GAAP compliant financial statements with entity-level detail, intercompany eliminations, and documented management adjustments.

Controls and Compliance:

  • Design, implement, and enforce internal controls, approval workflows, and segregation of duties across all entities;
  • Strengthen account reconciliations, review standards, and audit documentation to eliminate recurring findings;
  • Lead remediation of control gaps, audit findings, and close process defects including resolution of prior audit findings;
  • Maintain readiness for lender compliance reporting, deadlines, annual external audit, and transaction diligence;
  • Build a control environment suitable for presentation to a prospective buyer's quality of earnings team.

PE Sponsor Partnership:

  • Serve as the trusted accounting contact for Arsenal Capital Partners; providing clean actual, timely communication, and concise explanations of accounting judgments;
  • Participate in sponsor reviews covering close status, balance sheet quality, working capital, and audit or diligence issues;
  • Support Arsenal requests related to financing, add-on acquisitions, exit preparation, and quality-of-earnings processes;
  • Translate accounting matters into sponsor-relevant impacts on EBITDA quality, cash conversion, and reporting risk.

Cost Accounting and Manufacturing P&L:

  • Own the cost accounting framework across all manufacturing sites: standard cost development, overhead allocation methodology, and manufacturing variance analysis;
  • Build and maintain plant-level P&L reporting that accurately reflects each site's contribution to consolidated operating income;
  • Establish and document product costing methodology sufficient for quality of earnings review and buyer diligence scrutiny;
  • Partner with operations leadership to identify cost drivers and track margin improvement initiatives.

  • Support restructuring priorities that improve confidence in reported results and operating discipline.

Team Leadership:

  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing accounting team across all sites with clear ownership, accountability, and performance standards;
  • Supervise all site-level accounting staff and controllers; establish direct or dotted-line reporting relationships as needed;
