Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on Java development experience, especially with Java 11+ (preferably Java 17) and Spring technologies.
• Strong working experience in AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3, ECS/EKS).
• Proven experience as a technical lead or in leading development teams.
• Sound knowledge of securities finance, securities lending/borrowing, or prime services.
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with business and technology partners.
• Experience with distributed global teamwork.
• Thorough understanding of modern development practices including CI/CD, Git, automated testing, microservices, and databases.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of technology solutions for Securities Finance.
• Drive architecture discussions and influence technical strategy using modern Java and Spring frameworks.
• Create cloud-native microservices and build distributed systems on AWS.
• Collaborate with global business users, product managers, and technology teams.
• Mentor junior developers and ensure adherence to coding and DevOps best practices.
• Manage complete project delivery, from gathering requirements to deployment and support.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with teams across the US, EMEA, and APAC, ensuring system reliability and performance.
