Description

The Vice President Information Technology provides strategic and operational leadership for Advita's global technology organization. Reporting to the CFO, this executive is responsible for defining and executing the enterprise technology strategy while ensuring reliable, secure, and scalable technology services that support company growth, operational excellence, innovation, and regulatory compliance.

The VP, IT oversees all technology functions, including enterprise applications, software development, infrastructure and operations, cybersecurity, end-user support, IT governance, and technology portfolio management. This role partners closely with executive leadership to drive business transformation, technology modernization, and continuous improvement initiatives across the organization

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the enterprise technology strategy, multi-year roadmap, governance framework, and investment plans to align technology capabilities with business objectives, growth initiatives, and operational priorities.
  • Lead the delivery and optimization of enterprise applications, software development, integrations, infrastructure, cloud services, end-user computing, and IT operations to ensure secure, reliable, scalable, and cost-effective technology services across the organization.
  • Partner with executive and functional leaders to identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, digital transformation, data-driven decision making, and the adoption of emerging technologies that enhance business performance and customer outcomes.
  • Establish and maintain enterprise standards for architecture, software development, cybersecurity, risk management, business continuity, disaster recovery, and regulatory compliance to protect company assets and ensure operational resilience.
  • Oversee the technology project and portfolio management process, ensuring strategic initiatives are appropriately prioritized, resourced, governed, and delivered within scope, schedule, and budget expectations.
  • Lead technology vendor relationships, contract negotiations, managed service providers, and strategic partnerships to maximize service quality, innovation, and return on technology investments.
  • Develop and manage the annual IT operating and capital budgets, establishing performance metrics and accountability measures that drive operational excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Build, develop, and lead a high-performing technology organization by fostering accountability, collaboration, innovation, customer service, and professional growth across multiple disciplines and geographically dispersed teams.


Skills Knowledge and Expertise

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field required.
  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Technology Management, or a related discipline preferred.
  • Relevant technology, cybersecurity, project management, or service-management credentials are valued but not required.

Experience:
  • Fifteen (15) or more years of progressive information technology experience with increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Eight (8) or more years of progressive technology leadership experience overseeing a broad portfolio of technology functions, which may include enterprise applications, software development, infrastructure, cybersecurity, data, and IT operations.
  • Demonstrated success developing and executing enterprise technology strategies that support organizational growth, digital transformation, and operational excellence.
  • Experience leading enterprise-scale technology initiatives, business system implementations, and organizational change programs.
  • Proven experience managing technology budgets, vendor relationships, managed service providers, and strategic technology investments.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, and corporate business functions is preferred.

Functional/Technical Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise applications, cloud technologies, infrastructure operations, cybersecurity frameworks, software development methodologies, and IT service management practices.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to align technology strategy and investments with organizational objectives.
  • Ability to evaluate emerging technologies and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, innovation, and business performance.
  • Strong financial, vendor management, contract negotiation, and strategic planning capabilities.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and collaborate at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to executive and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to build, develop, and lead high-performing technical and leadership teams.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a focus on driving measurable business outcomes.
