Role Summary

Aquarian Holdings is seeking a Vice President of Investor Relations to support institutional investor engagement, fundraising execution and capital formation for Aquarian Investments.

This individual will work closely with senior leadership and investment professionals on fundraising initiatives, pipeline management, diligence processes, LP reporting, and strategic product positioning. The ideal candidate brings strong technical knowledge of private markets, exceptional communication skills, and experience interfacing with sophisticated institutional allocators.

This role is designed for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to build a new function within a rapidly growing, multi-strategy platform.

This position is onsite 5 days a week at our New York City office.

Key Responsibilities:

Fundraising & Capital Formation
  • Partner with senior leadership and investment teams to raise capital for commingled funds, co-investments, SMAs, and bespoke mandates within private credit, specialty finance, and other private-market strategies.
  • Lead the creation and refinement of fundraising materials, including PPMs, pitch decks, case studies, track-record presentations, and strategy narratives.
  • Manage pipelines, diligence processes, and investor progression tracking across multiple products.
  • Oversee comprehensive DDQ and RFP responses, consultant questionnaires, data-room population, and ongoing documentation updates.

Investor Engagement & Relationship Management
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for institutional investors, managing day-to-day investor inquiries related to performance, portfolio positioning, fund strategy, and market dynamics.
  • Prepare and deliver high-quality investor communications, including quarterly letters, investment updates, and portfolio deep dives.
  • Support annual investor meetings and targeted LP dialogues.

Strategic Initiatives
  • Contribute to thought leadership, market content, and competitive positioning related to private markets, private credit, and alternative strategies.
  • Help refine the firm's narrative and investor communication strategy as the platform scales.
  • Drive process improvements in IR systems, CRM, and reporting workflows.


Qualifications:
  • 7-10+ years of experience in investor relations/capital formation within buy-side alternative asset management, with knowledge of private credit, private equity, structured solutions, and multi-strategy platforms.
  • Strong understanding of private-market fund structures, including closed-end funds, SMAs, co-investments, and evergreen vehicles.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex concepts for institutional investors.
  • High proficiency with performance reporting, portfolio analytics, and data-driven storytelling.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple deliverables and work cross-functionally with senior investment teams.
  • A self-starter with strong judgment, polish, and professionalism.
