Summary:

Responsible for all financial reporting functions within an organization.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversees work related to the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, and ensures compliance with organizational standards and government regulations (including GAAP).

  • Reviews and approves required debt and agency filings, including those for all warehouse and credit facilities

  • Reviews and interprets regulations and provides technical accounting guidance across the organization, including the preparation of technical accounting memos

  • Provides accounting assistance during special projects, such as mergers, acquisitions, or divestitures.

  • Leads and directs the work of other employees and has responsibility for personnel actions including hiring and performance management

  • Collaborates with other members of the executive finance management team to align departmental strategy or direction with the overall goals of the organization

  •  Develops policies, practices, and procedures that have a significant impact on the organization

  • Comply with all company policies and procedures.

  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • This position has direct reports. Manages staff and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

The estimated base pay for this role is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The estimated base pay for this position is the annualized equivalent of $227,000.00 - $268,000.00, depending on experience, qualifications, market location, and other job-related factors.
