About the Role

As the VP, Engineering at Z Modular, you will lead the company's innovative approach to modular construction and engineering execution. This executive leadership role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of architectural and engineering design while driving strategic initiatives that improve quality, efficiency, sustainability, and project delivery.

You will collaborate with internal teams, clients, contractors, and external partners to advance modular construction capabilities and deliver industry-leading building solutions. This is a full-time, onsite role located in [Location].

What You'll Do
  • Develop and execute the company's modular construction engineering strategy aligned with overall business objectives.
  • Provide strategic leadership and guidance to internal teams and external project partners.
  • Lead the architectural and engineering design process from concept through project completion.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop innovative and efficient modular design solutions that maximize functionality and aesthetics.
  • Establish and enforce quality standards to ensure projects meet or exceed industry benchmarks.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance design and engineering processes.
  • Lead sustainability initiatives by integrating eco-friendly materials, energy-efficient systems, and sustainable building practices into project designs.
  • Stay current on emerging technologies, trends, and innovations within modular construction and engineering.
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of architects, engineers, and design professionals.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors throughout project execution.
  • Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders and deliver customized modular construction solutions that exceed expectations.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and develop contingency plans to support successful project outcomes.
  • Lead performance management, coaching, and development activities for engineering and design teams.
  • Lead and promote healthy and safe work practices as required by regulatory agencies and Company policy.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Who You Are
