About the Role

As a Maintenance Manager at Zekelman Industries, you will play a key role in leading the maintenance operations that support equipment reliability and minimize downtime at our Wheatland Tube facility in Warren, OH. This position requires strong leadership, project management, and analytical skills, offering the opportunity to drive efficiency improvements and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

You will collaborate closely with the Plant Manager, maintenance staff, and operations team to ensure optimal functionality of all plant equipment and facilities. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Warren, OH.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced industrial environment, excels at troubleshooting, and is passionate about leading teams to success through continuous improvement and operational excellence.

What You'll Do
  • Oversees maintenance operations to ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and labor agreements
  • Collaborates with operations to implement continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing downtime and enhancing production efficiency
  • Leads preventive and predictive maintenance efforts to improve equipment reliability and control costs
  • Assigns and communicates job responsibilities clearly to maintenance personnel, ensuring timely and quality completion
  • Manages maintenance budget, tracks R&M costs, and identifies opportunities for cost reduction
  • Identifies and leads capital investment projects, ensuring timely execution and alignment with business goals
  • Provides technical support during equipment breakdowns, ensuring safe and efficient recovery of operations
  • Coordinates procurement of necessary materials and parts by working with the Purchasing department
  • Evaluates team performance through audits and feedback, driving accountability and development
  • Conducts employee evaluations, sets performance goals, and manages corrective action when needed
  • Leads special projects as assigned by the Plant Manager


Who You Are
