Overview

The VP, Digital Technology oversees the development, deployment, and continuous evolution of enterprise-wide technology solutions, by aligning digital innovation with strategic business objectives to ensure that technology investments drive measurable impact. This role shapes and executes long-term technology roadmaps that position the enterprise for sustained growth and competitive advantage, in partnership with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to translate complex business needs into scalable, forward-looking technical strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Leads enterprise-wide technology initiatives, partnering with digital and business stakeholders to deliver innovative, consumer-centric experiences. Drives strategic platform integration to amplify organizational capabilities and accelerate digital transformation.
  • Champions rapid delivery to achieve measurable business outcomes and ensures seamless collaboration across technical functions.
  • Shapes the strategic direction of consumer-facing technology, guiding architecture and capability development to maximize business value and enhance customer engagement.
  • Leads strategy and governance for consumer facing Secure Software Development Lifecycle practices, ensuring alignment with organizational risk posture and digital transformation goals. Oversees the full lifecycle from conceptualization through roadmap development, implementation, and sustained optimization across business-critical platforms.
  • Oversees enterprise digital budget planning and financial stewardship, aligning investment decisions with strategic priorities and ROI targets. Ensures fiscal discipline across programs, manages vendor relationships, and drives cost optimization through platform consolidation and operational efficiencies.
  • Establishes and leads the strategy for the architecture and delivery of high-volume, low-latency cloud-native applications supporting mission-critical platforms. Champions innovation in scalable design, performance engineering, and high-availability infrastructure to drive enterprise resilience and constituent engagement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of proven experience leading enterprise-wide technology strategies, digital transformation initiatives, and large-scale technology modernization programs that drive measurable business outcomes.
  • Experience with Generative AI technologies, including LLMs, embeddings, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases, tokenization, and AI platform services such as AWS Bedrock.
  • Experience leveraging Machine Learning (ML) and predictive analytics to drive business outcomes; Palantir Foundry experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience on public cloud preferably Amazon Web Services (AWS) - architecting, designing, developing, deploying, and monitoring in building large distributed and parallel systems using cloud native technology including AWS Lamda, AWS EKS, AWS S3.
  • Experience managing an enterprise content management system ensuring scalable, secure, and efficient delivery of digital experiences and content across channels. Adobe Experience Manager preferred.
  • Significant experience establishing and operating DevOps and Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) practices, including Git-based repositories (Bitbucket, GitHub), CI/CD pipelines, static and dynamic code analysis, Infrastructure as Code (AWS CloudFormation), vulnerability management, and blue/green deployment strategies.
  • Proven ability to oversee mobile technology strategy, development, and operations across both iOS and Android platforms, including mobile architecture, security, and performance.
  • Proven ability to manage large-scale technology budgets, vendor relationships, and investment portfolios while building high-performing cross-functional teams and driving strategic, cost-effective technology solutions through strong executive communication, stakeholder management, and change leadership.
