Full Job Description
Role Summary/Purpose:

The Vice President, Dental Industry & Partnerships Leader is a pivotal role responsible for driving strategic growth across the dental ecosystem. Reporting to the SVP, GM - Independent Market & Expansion Leader, this leader will set and execute partnership strategies that accelerate market expansion, deepen industry relationships, and elevate the CareCredit/Synchrony brand within the dental community.

As a senior external ambassador, the VP will build trusted partnerships with the Associations, DSOs, strategic technology partners, key opinion leaders (KOLs), and other strategic partners, translating those relationships into high-impact programs, pilots, and measurable business outcomes. The role leads a team of dental professionals partnering cross-functionally across sales, product, marketing, credit, and operations to connect strategy to execution and deliver sustained growth and industry influence.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team managing strategic dental industry partnerships, associations, and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to strengthen the CareCredit/Synchrony brand and drive revenue growth
  • Develop and execute the dental strategic technology partnership strategy and further grow existing ISV partnerships ensuring market leadership in the dental space.
  • Work with our partners and internal teams to identify expanded solution definitions and strategies for driving these solutions through the partner ecosystem.
  • Provide partner account management to key relationships, build and nurture strategic relationships at the senior level
  • Translate partnerships and industry insights into measurable business outcomes through programs and initiatives
  • Set and execute aligned strategies in partnership with Business Development, Venture, Sales, Marketing, Product, and Operations
  • Build business cases, track ROI, and ensure disciplined investment in strategic programs
  • Collaborate with consultants and KOLs to develop and deliver high-impact educational content and programs
  • Expand partnership with Dental Alliance, industry partners, and large groups to develop and execute strategic initiatives
  • Position the organization as a trusted thought leader and partner in the dental space
  • Communicate key industry opportunities and long-term implications to internal stakeholders and how they will impact the Dental industry and our business growth long-term.
  • Partner with field and inside sales organization to provide dental industry education and strategies to ensure alignment on how sales approach and engage providers
  • Provide oversight of dental industry strategy and execution in partnership with cross functional leaders
  • Own monthly operational and portfolio updates for cross-functional dental stakeholders
  • Oversee special projects, pilots, and product updates (e.g., disputes, NATU) while coaching and developing a high-performing, accountable team
  • Establish clear priorities, performance expectations, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Align team priorities with enterprise goals and strategic outcomes
  • Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned


Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (MBA, DDS/DMD, or equivalent) preferred
  • 5+ years in dental/healthcare (or related), operations management, including partnership development, strategic alliances, and industry engagement
  • 6+ years in financial services client management/sales, including people leadership
  • Proven ability to deliver executive-level communications to senior leaders and/or key external partners (5+ years)
  • Strong commercial and operational leadership: contract negotiation/deal structuring, cross-functional program execution, and P&L/influence driving measurable outcomes
  • Ability to travel up to 50% including overnight and some weekend travel

Grade/Level: 14

The salary range for this position is 150,000.00 - 250,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.

Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.

Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.

You will be required to commute to your nearest Hub (either virtual or physical) for in-person engagement activities such as regular business or team meetings, training and culture events.
