What You'll Do:- Collaborate closely with the Bluespring President to execute a highly process-driven M&A growth strategy.
- Manage the top-of-the-funnel sales and marketing efforts to identify and engage potential acquisition targets.
- Develop a deep understanding of market trends and strategically assess opportunities to identify high-value prospects.
- Enhance acquisition processes by incorporating a CRM system and other data-driven tools and methodologies for improved target prioritization and seamless end-to-end transaction execution.
- Work cross-functionally with M&A, Marketing, and Business Development teams to enhance processes, including prospect engagement and other lead source efforts.
- Forge close working relationships with cross-functional leaders.
- Assist in the generation and dissemination of Bluespring's value proposition to differentiate the firm from other competitors in the market.
- Support lead-generation activities by overseeing both field and inside sales efforts, including initial prospect engagement.
- Engage in meaningful activity with industry groups, key events, and other promotional efforts throughout the region.
- Shepherd RIA firms and potential acquisition targets, ensuring best in class, white-glove treatment.
- Empower and arm industry contacts to be an extension and force multiplier for Bluesprings expansion efforts.
What You Bring:- 6+ years of overall relationship-based sales experience with 3+ years leading explosive growth in the financial services and wealth management industries. 10+ years of experience and strong knowledge of the RIA space preferred.
- Strong background with proven experience in driving and managing acquisition pipelines. Track record at executing on process and data driven sales.
- History of aligning values, culture, platform, organic growth, systems, and process.
- Proven ability to continually utilize data, metrics, and measurements to shape strategies, optimize performance, and generate high-impact management reporting.
- Prior experience partnering with marketing and collaborating with other functions to design and implement an acquisition strategy.
- Significant industry background with up-to-date knowledge of the Wealth Management competitive landscape. Existing relationships with investment banks, financial institutions, and other deal originators in the wealth management and financial planning space preferred.
- Experience driving year-over-year growth, with a proven ability to analyze financial and market data to identify acquisition opportunities.
- Demonstrated ability to command respect and secure meetings with important executives and leaders.
- Experience serving as a liaison for executive leaders and partners to build working relationships.
- Strong communication skills and an ability to craft and deliver a persuasive and authentic value proposition.
- An execution-focused sales or M&A leader with a proven track record of originating deals.
- Relationship oriented, results driven, executor, with proven decision-making ability.
- Demonstrated ability to succeed in both large, structured organizations and entrepreneurial, high-growth environments.
- Ability to build and present thoughtful business cases to the potential acquisition targets.
- Ability to interact with multiple management teams and concepts
