Title: VP of Compliance
Duration: Direct Hire
Location: Hybrid Plano, TX

About the Role:

The Vice President of Compliance will lead the development, implementation, and management of the organization's compliance program to ensure adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. This role is critical in safeguarding the company's reputation by proactively identifying compliance risks and establishing robust controls to mitigate them.

This individual will partner closely with executive leadership, legal, and operational teams to promote a culture of integrity and ethical conduct across the organization. They will oversee compliance audits, investigations, and training programs while driving continuous improvement and regulatory alignment. This position plays a key role in shaping the strategic direction of compliance initiatives to support long-term business growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the compliance function, providing guidance, training, and oversight to ensure effective execution
• Conduct ongoing risk assessments and compliance audits, identifying gaps and recommending corrective actions

• Monitor regulatory changes and advise executive leadership on potential business impact
• Design and deliver compliance training programs to promote awareness and adherence to regulatory standards
• Investigate compliance concerns and partner with internal stakeholders to resolve issues appropriately
• Prepare and present compliance reporting to executive leadership and the board

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
• 10+ years of progressive experience in compliance, risk management, or regulatory affairs
• Proven experience building and leading compliance programs within complex organizations
• Strong understanding of federal and state regulations such as Sarbanes-Oxley, HIPAA, FCPA, or similar frameworks
• Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:
• Advanced degree (JD, MBA, or Master's in Compliance or Regulatory Affairs)
• Professional certifications such as CCEP, CRCM, or similar
• Experience within a highly regulated or multi-state environment
• Background implementing compliance technology solutions and reporting tools
• Familiarity with data privacy regulations including GDPR and CCPA
