About the Role

The VP, Commercial Partnerships - East & Midwest is a senior commercial leadership role responsible for leading Fortune's East and Midwest commercial business.

This role combines revenue leadership, account strategy, executive client engagement, organizational leadership, and commercial planning. The VP will lead a team of approximately 10 account executives across the East and Midwest and serve as a key member of Fortune's commercial leadership team.

Success in this role will be measured by revenue performance, the quality of account strategy across the region, the effectiveness of the organization, and the ability to contribute to the growth and evolution of Fortune's commercial business.

What You'll Do

Revenue Leadership
• Own and be accountable for revenue performance across the East & Midwest region.
• Drive accurate forecasting, disciplined pipeline management, and opportunity progression across the business.
• Personally engage in the region's largest and most strategic opportunities, helping sellers build executive relationships and close complex, integrated partnerships.
• Maintain visibility into regional performance and proactively identify risks and opportunities.

Account Strategy & Executive Engagement
• Lead account strategy across the region's most important relationships, ensuring clear growth plans, executive engagement strategies, and long-term partnership opportunities.
• Develop a deep understanding of clients' businesses, priorities, and challenges, ensuring Fortune's recommendations are grounded in customer needs and business outcomes.
• Help teams identify the underlying objectives behind every opportunity and connect Fortune's capabilities to solutions that create meaningful value for clients.
• Serve as an executive sponsor for key accounts and actively participate in high-value client engagements.
• Act as a strategic thought partner to sellers, helping teams navigate complex organisations, build senior-level relationships, and identify opportunities that may not be visible through traditional sales approaches.
• Ensure disciplined account ownership, account planning, and transition management across the region.

Team & Organisational Leadership
• Lead and support a high-performing team responsible for Fortune's East and Midwest business.
• Establish a culture of accountability, ownership, collaboration, and execution.
• Drive consistent operating rhythms through deal reviews, forecast inspections, account strategy sessions, and performance management.
• Recruit, attract, and retain top commercial talent.
• Evaluate team structure, account coverage, and resource allocation to maximise growth and efficiency.

Cross-Functional Leadership
• Partner closely with GTM, Editorial, Digital Product Solutions, Fortune Live Media SMEs, and Marketing to develop differentiated client solutions and bring the best ideas to market.
• Help identify emerging commercial opportunities and ensure the regional team is leveraging the full breadth of Fortune's capabilities.
• Collaborate with Rev Ops and GTM to maintain excellence in forecasting, pipeline management, CRM discipline, and commercial execution.
• Partner with Business Development leadership to ensure effective account transitions, pipeline progression, and long-term account growth.

Organizational Leadership
• Serve as a key member of Fortune's commercial leadership team.
• Help drive adoption of operating standards, account ownership principles, forecasting discipline, and integrated selling practices across the organization.
• Partner with senior leadership to shape the future structure, operating model, and growth strategy of the commercial business.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity, collaboration, account coverage, and revenue performance across the organization.
• Contribute to commercial decisions that extend beyond direct regional responsibility.

Salary Range: $375,000-$400,000 Total compensation
