Job Description

This role will partner closely with business stakeholders, operations teams, technology teams, and project managers to gather requirements, analyze workflows, define solutions, and support successful delivery of LoanIQ-related enhancements and projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a Business Analyst for LoanIQ platform initiatives, including enhancements, upgrades, integrations, and operational process improvements.
  • Partner with stakeholders across loan operations, middle office, front office, finance, risk, compliance, and technology to gather and document business requirements.
  • Analyze current-state workflows and define target-state processes for syndicated loans, bilateral loans, agency lending, loan servicing, and trade lifecycle activities.
  • Translate business needs into clear functional requirements, user stories, process flows, data mappings, and acceptance criteria.
  • Support end-to-end project delivery, including requirements gathering, solution design, testing, implementation, and post-production support.
  • Work with technology teams to ensure business requirements are understood and accurately implemented.
  • Facilitate workshops, requirement review sessions, and stakeholder meetings.
  • Support LoanIQ configuration, data analysis, reporting, interface validation, and system integration activities.
  • Assist with testing activities, including test strategy, test case preparation, user acceptance testing, defect triage, and regression testing.
  • Identify process gaps, operational risks, and opportunities for automation or efficiency improvements.
  • Collaborate with project managers to track deliverables, risks, issues, dependencies, and milestones.
  • Support change management efforts, including training materials, user guides, and business readiness activities.
  • Ensure solutions align with internal controls, regulatory expectations, and banking industry best practices.


Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years of professional experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Analyst, or similar role within banking, financial services, or capital markets.
  • Hands-on experience working with LoanIQ in a business analysis, operations, implementation, or technology delivery capacity.
  • Strong understanding of the commercial loan lifecycle, including deal setup, funding, drawdowns, rollovers, repayments, interest and fee processing, amendments, and servicing.
  • Experience with syndicated loans, leveraged finance, agency lending, bilateral lending, or loan trading workflows.
  • Ability to document detailed business requirements, functional specifications, data flows, process maps, and test scenarios.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience supporting UAT, defect management, and production implementation.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams including business users, operations, technology, QA, and project management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Word.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience in an investment bank, corporate bank, commercial bank, or global financial institution.
  • Experience with LoanIQ upgrades, migrations, integrations, or large-scale transformation programs.
  • Knowledge of front-to-back loan processing across front office, middle office, back office, finance, and risk.
  • Familiarity with loan accounting, general ledger postings, reconciliations, and regulatory reporting.
  • Experience working with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
  • Exposure to SQL, data analysis, APIs, system interfaces, or reporting tools.
  • Knowledge of regulatory, compliance, and control requirements relevant to lending products.
  • Experience with JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint, ServiceNow, or similar project/documentation tools.


Primary Location Full Time Salary Range of $175,000 - $200,000.
