About the roleAs the Finance Business Partner to the Chief Commercial Officer, you'll be a trusted advisor to C-suite leadership - bringing expertise in managing resources and growing the business to achieve company goals. You'll be instrumental in optimizing go-to-market, sales, and revenue-generating initiatives, evaluating performance, and enabling data-driven decision-making. Working with Partnerships, Sales, Revenue Operations, Biz Ops, and Growth Ops, you'll provide decision support for how sales and partnership choices impact the P&L. This role is built for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
What you'll do- Conduct financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting for sales and go-to-market activities.
- Develop financial models that guide strategic decision-making on key P&L drivers, including where incremental investments will have the greatest impact.
- Work closely with Sales and Product to assess the impact of incentives, promotions, and pricing changes on revenue.
- Oversee monthly and quarterly forecasting, reporting, and spend management, providing recommendations to optimize against budget.
- Analyze and synthesize financial results and communicate key insights to internal stakeholders.
- Support the business in planning, and help develop team targets and OKRs.
In order to be successful, you must bring- 8+ years of FP&A experience.
- Preferred experience in a public company and/or marketplace environment.
- Experience working with Business Development and Sales teams.
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills using Excel and G-Suite.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tell the story beyond the numbers.
- Ability to translate financial analysis into clear and insightful recommendations.
- A proactive approach to embracing AI tools to scale processes and deliver actionable insights.
Expected salary ranges- For candidates living in San Francisco / Bay Area, San Jose, New York City, or Seattle metros, the expected salary range for the role is currently $225,300.00 - $291,500.00.
- For candidates living in Austin, TX or Washington DC metros or in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, or Washington states, the expected salary range for the role is currently $203,200.00 - $262,900.00.
- For candidates living in all other US locations, the expected salary range for this role is currently $191,300.00 - $247,500.00.
