Make a DifferenceThe Vice President of Ambulatory Access Solutions provides executive leadership, strategic direction, and operational oversight for ambulatory access across Community Health Network and Community Physician Network. This role is accountable for creating a consistent, reliable, patient-centered access experience that supports timely connection to care, efficient scheduling, effective referral management,
optimized contact center performance, and standardized ambulatory front-end workflows. The VP partners closely with physician, operational, regional, product line, finance, marketing, digital, quality, and technology leaders to remove barriers to care, improve the patient and provider experience, advance consumer-friendly access tools, and achieve access-related performance goals across the ambulatory enterprise.
Exceptional Skills and QualificationsApplicants for this position should have experience aligning provider capacity, patient demand, and operational resources to improve access, support growth, and achieve organizational performance objectives across outpatient care settings.
Additional skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, Nursing, or a related field required
- Five (5) or more years of demonstrated success leading ambulatory access, contact center, scheduling, referral management, clinic operations, digital access, or related patient access functions preferred
- Seven (7) or more years of progressive leadership experience in an integrated, matrixed healthcare environment required
- Experience developing and executing enterprise-wide ambulatory access strategies
- Expertise in ambulatory operations, including scheduling, referral management, contact center operations, patient registration, and access optimization
- Experience leveraging analytics, performance metrics, and customer insights to improve access, experience, and operational outcomes
- Demonstrated success developing high-performing teams through coaching, talent development, accountability, and servant leadership
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders, build alignment, and successfully implement strategic and operational initiatives
