Full Job Description
This job oversees the strategic vision, long term planning, direction and overall accountability for system-wide access, revenue cycle and digital functions; communicates and interprets organizational and departmental mission goals and objectives to all clinical areas of responsibility within Information Services; partners with operational and corporate divisions on business and clinical strategies and objectives; and provides leadership and direction in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of technical activities within Information Services. In close coordination with the CIO and executive leadership, this job is accountable for all systems (patient-related systems); works with and advises business and clinical leadership to meet strategic and operational objectives through the use of effective information technology; and ensures that IS projects are appropriately prioritized and executed. Collaborates with the CIO and Information Services leadership team in all areas of administration, including employee engagement, operating and capital budgeting, expense management, and special projects and actively contributes to the development of IS planning activities.

Education

Required - Bachelor's degree in healthcare, business administration or related field.

Preferred - Master's degree.

Work Experience
Required - 10 years of experience in successfully managing complex hospital and patient care delivery information systems,

OR

8 years of experience with a master's degree in business administration, healthcare administration or related field.

Preferred - Experience installing and supporting Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.

Even though the weight lifted may be only a negligible amount, a job should be rated Light Work: (1) when it requires walking or standing to a significant degree; or (2) when it requires sitting most of the time but entails pushing and/or pulling of arm or leg controls; and/or (3) when the job requires working at a production rate pace entailing the constant pushing and/or pulling of materials even though the weight of those materials is negligible.
