Full Job Description
JOB SUMMARY

The Project Engineer role serves as the primary contact between customers, internals teams and third-party providers. This role is responsible for managing and supporting the overall expectations of a project: Working to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and within scope.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS

CUSTOMER AND TECHNICAL INTERFACE

  1. Coordinate technical discussions with customers to clarify requirements, specifications and performance expectations.
  2. Coordinate regular project meetings to ensure projects are on track or to update the team on shifts in scope.
  3. Create layout drawings and elevations to support coordination of fit of equipment.
  4. Manage multiple large-scale projects with cross-functional development teams.
  5. Prepare project summaries by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
  6. Collaborate closely with the Sales Team, Customer Project Managers and Third-Party Providers to ensure clear communication.
  7. Analyze problems that arise during the project cycle and recommend solutions.


SALES SUPPORT

  1. Answer technical questions for the Sales team regarding application engineering support
  2. Address customer concerns and provide recommended solutions.


GENERAL

  1. Follow all safety rules and quality standards including all company policies and procedures.
  2. Perform job assignments in a safe and productive manner while maintaining high quality levels.
  3. Other duties as assigned.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Mechanical engineering, or a related field.
  2. Minimum 2-3 years' experience in Mechanical Engineering.
  3. Experience in Project Management
  4. Proficient in Microsoft Office and associated applications.
  5. Proficiency with CAD software including AutoCAD, Solid Works, Revit
  6. Strong problem-solving skills.
  7. Ability to write clear and comprehensive technical documentation.
  8. High level of professionalism accompanied with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  9. Must have excellent time management skills, being able to prioritize multiple priorities at one time.
  10. Excellent communication skills, including verbal and written.
  11. Ability to work independently and as a team member.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  1. Must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time.
  2. Must be able to operate a computer and other office machinery such as a calculator, copy machine and printer.
  3. Must be able to travel for direct meetings and reviews at customer sites.
