JOB DESCRIPTION

Visual Matrix is seeking an experienced Vice President of Sales to build and lead a world-class sales organization that delivers predictable, scalable Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) growth while developing exceptional sales talent and fostering a high-performance culture.

Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for recruiting outstanding sales talent, establishing scalable sales processes, coaching and developing Account Executives, and building the operating cadence that enables consistent execution and forecast accuracy. This is a highly visible leadership role that partners closely with Marketing, Customer Success, Product, Finance, and Executive Leadership to accelerate growth and establish Visual Matrix as the hospitality technology platform of choice.

You're Excited About This Opportunity Because You Will:
  • Build, lead, and scale the Visual Matrix Sales organization.
  • Recruit, hire, onboard, coach, and develop high-performing Account Executives.
  • Own new ARR performance and consistently deliver against company revenue objectives.
  • Establish a predictable operating cadence through pipeline reviews, forecasting, deal inspections, coaching, and accountability.
  • Develop repeatable sales processes that improve pipeline conversion, forecasting accuracy, and sales productivity.
  • Build a disciplined outbound prospecting culture while maximizing inbound opportunities.
  • Partner with Marketing to improve demand generation, lead quality, and conversion.
  • Partner with Customer Success to create seamless customer transitions and identify long-term growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Product and Executive Leadership to communicate customer feedback, competitive insights, and market trends.
  • Leverage AI, Gong, Zoho CRM, and sales analytics to improve coaching effectiveness, forecasting accuracy, and overall sales performance.
  • You'll get to explore and apply AI tools in your day-to-day work, finding new ways to simplify tasks, accelerate outcomes, and elevate your effectiveness.

  • You have deep expertise in forecasting, pipeline management, sales operations, and sales leadership.
  • You have successfully recruited, coached, and developed top-performing sales professionals.
  • You are an exceptional communicator with executive presence and the ability to influence across the organization.
  • You thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments where accountability and outcomes matter.
  • Hospitality technology, hotel SaaS, PMS, payments, or related industry experience is a plus.
  • Experience with Gong, Zoho CRM, and modern sales enablement platforms is preferred.
  • You are comfortable using modern AI tools to increase your productivity, including summarizing information, drafting and refining content, analyzing data patterns, and supporting decision-making in your day-to-day work.
  • You apply strong critical thinking when working with AI-generated output, validating accuracy before relying on recommendations.
  • You know how to use AI responsibly while protecting customer and company information.
  • You possess a proactive, solution-oriented, problem-solving mindset: "I'll figure it out."
  • You thrive in a small, growing, fast-paced, results-oriented environment.

Bonus Points For:
  • Hospitality technology SaaS experience is a plus
  • Experience selling hotel technology, PMS, hospitality software, payments, or related SaaS solutions
  • Experience with Zoho CRM & Gong or similar sales enablement platforms
  • Experience leveraging AI tools to improve sales productivity, coaching, and customer engagement

Compensation and Benefits

Base Salary Range: $180,000-200,000, part of a competitive total rewards package including an annual bonus, employer-paid benefits, L&D stipend and incentive pay for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all employee pay and compensation programs annually at minimum to ensure competitive and fair pay.
