The role collaborates closely with other internal groups including Business Development, Professional Development, Marketing, Product, and Investor Relations to transform complex business concepts into clear, visual narratives that that elevate understanding, strengthens the BMO's brand, and advances strategic priorities.
This is a strong opportunity for a visual designer with solid fundamentals, and high attention to detail to grow within a collaborative in-house team while contributing to work with meaningful visibility across the organization.

- Ensure accuracy, compliance, version control, and appropriate file management throughout the design and production lifecycle.
- Work with subject matter experts and approvers to refine content, obtain required approvals, and maintain evidence of approvals where needed.
Staying ahead
- Stay abreast of design trends, tools, and technologies to incorporate innovative design elements into presentations.
- Utilize emerging creative technologies, including AI-powered design and content generation tools to improve efficiency and unlock new creative capabilities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Visual Communication, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in visual communication, presentation design, brand design, or multimedia design.

- Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
- Advanced expertise in PowerPoint as a design and storytelling tool.
- Experience creating print-ready documents and high-quality presentation collateral for executive or client-facing use.

- Highly detail-oriented: meticulous about alignment, consistency, and visual polish.
- Strong intrapersonal skills (i.e., the ability to interact with all levels of management)
- Curiosity, creativity, and interest in continuing to grow across brand design, digital experiences, accessibility, event activation, and emerging creative tools.
- Familiarity with motion graphics, animation, and interactive storytelling platforms is a plus.
