Responsibilities

  • Provide overall leadership and managerial oversight of the treasury, cash, and fund finance functions supporting investment funds, separate accounts, and corporate needs.
  • Oversee day-to-day funding, cash investment strategies, and asset/liability forecasting to ensure adequate liquidity for working capital and investment activities.
  • Manage and deepen relationships with banks, lenders, and other financial institutions, negotiating terms and ensuring alignment with fund and firm objectives.
  • Oversee the execution, renewal, and compliance of treasury-related facilities and arrangements, ensuring accurate drawdowns/paydowns, covenant tracking, and adherence to contractual obligations.
  • Develop and maintain treasury and financing models, dashboards, and reporting packages that provide insight into cash, capital, and credit utilization for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Partner closely with Finance, Operations, Legal, Investment, and Technology teams to ensure systems, data, and processes effectively support the scale and complexity of the business.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and oversight to treasury professionals, building a strong team culture and developing capabilities aligned with the firm's growth.

Full Job Description
The Opportunity:

As a Vice President, Treasury, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across the firm's treasury, liquidity, and fund finance activities for investment funds and separate accounts. You will oversee key banking and lender relationships, guide the execution and compliance of financing and cash-management arrangements, and partner with senior stakeholders to support capital efficiency and liquidity planning across the platform.

In this role, you will also lead and develop a high-performing team, drive process and systems enhancements, and represent Treasury in cross-functional initiatives that enable scale, control, and insight for the broader business.

Your responsibilities will be to:

Treasury and liquidity leadership
  • Provide overall leadership and managerial oversight of the treasury, cash, and fund finance functions supporting investment funds, separate accounts, and corporate needs.
  • Oversee day-to-day funding, cash investment strategies, and asset/liability forecasting to ensure adequate liquidity for working capital and investment activities.

Banking and lender relationship management
  • Manage and deepen relationships with banks, lenders, and other financial institutions, negotiating terms and ensuring alignment with fund and firm objectives.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to coordinate opening, maintenance, and oversight of banking and financing arrangements across clients and investment vehicles.

Financing, cash management, and compliance
  • Oversee the execution, renewal, and compliance of treasury-related facilities and arrangements, ensuring accurate drawdowns/paydowns, covenant tracking, and adherence to contractual obligations.
  • Maintain and enhance policies, procedures, and internal controls that provide an appropriate control environment over treasury activities and support audit readiness.

Modeling, reporting, and decision support
  • Develop and maintain treasury and financing models, dashboards, and reporting packages that provide insight into cash, capital, and credit utilization for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare or oversee cash and capital trend analyses and key treasury metrics to inform management decision-making and strategic planning.

Cross-functional collaboration and change leadership
  • Partner closely with Finance, Operations, Legal, Investment, and Technology teams to ensure systems, data, and processes effectively support the scale and complexity of the business.
  • Lead or contribute to treasury initiatives, change management efforts, and cross-functional projects, identifying and implementing process and system improvements that enhance efficiency, transparency, and scalability.

People leadership and development
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and oversight to treasury professionals, building a strong team culture and developing capabilities aligned with the firm's growth.
  • Represent Treasury in senior-level and cross-functional forums, effectively communicating priorities, risks, and opportunities.


Your background will include:

Must-haves:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in treasury, fund finance, cash management, and/or corporate finance within asset management, private markets, corporate, or banking environments.
  • Demonstrated track record managing banking and/or lender relationships, including contributing to or leading negotiations on terms and facilities.
  • Strong understanding of treasury, liquidity, and cash management concepts, including capital structure and funding mechanisms.
  • Solid analytical and financial modeling skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with treasury systems, banking platforms, and financial reporting tools.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments and levels of seniority.

Nice-to-haves:
  • Advanced credentials such as MBA or CTP.
  • Direct experience with treasury management systems (e.g., Kyriba, Hazeltree) or similar platforms.
  • Experience with fund structures, capital call mechanics, and liquidity planning in private markets.
  • Exposure to FX, hedging, and interest rate risk management.
  • Prior involvement in system implementations or process automation initiatives.
