  • Assess and prioritize core strategic programs taking them from concepts to fundable business cases
  • Prepare quarterly board materials on strategic progress, key decisions, and outlook, as well as monthly progress updates to business leaders, reinforcing transparency and accountability
  • Liaise with enterprise strategy and corporate development team to assess new business opportunities for the Personal Bank, including M&A activity
  • Lead loyalty expansion strategy across all products to ensure rewards are used efficiently and purposefully to drive profitable behaviours critical to achieving commercialization and strategic priorities
  • Chair and lead a new governance process for points usage, including proposal intake, evaluation criteria, and decision-making

Capital Planning

  • Own planning and prioritization of all CapEx for the Personal Bank including leading an intake process with clear frameworks for evaluating proposals ahead of prioritization
  • Govern a capital allocation framework aligning investment with strategic priorities and expected outcomes, holding business leaders accountable to the business case commitments behind funded initiatives
  • Partner with Finance and Digital on budgeting, forecasting, and ongoing review of capex portfolio
  • Evaluate resource demand against available capacity across the Personal Banking, Enterprise Technology, and vendors and align divisional capex plans with enterprise roadmaps and constraints
  • Lead quarterly planning process (QBR) to oversee performance on projects and initiatives and ensure ongoing prioritization and allocation of resources and capital.
  • Build and own the reporting against established OKRs as part of the quarterly planning process

Stakeholder & Risk Management

  • Build trusted relationships with senior leaders across Digital, Enterprise Technology, Finance, Risk, and business lines
  • Influence and hold accountable senior stakeholders without direct reporting authority
  • Apply the Bank's risk appetite and culture to strategic, capital, and delivery decisions, ensuring compliance with operational and regulatory requirements
