JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Vice President, Small Business Payments Product Manager in the Connected Commerce Payments organization, you will lead end-to-end product lifecycle management for small and mid-sized business payment services. You'll act as the voice of the customer, developing scalable, resilient products that deliver measurable value. Working closely with cross-functional partners, you will drive innovation from discovery through delivery, ensuring every product decision is grounded in data, strategy, and customer insight.

Job responsibilities

  • Define and drive product strategy and vision that delivers meaningful value to customers
  • Lead discovery efforts and market research to identify customer needs and integrate insights into the product roadmap
  • Own, maintain, and prioritize a product backlog aligned to the strategic roadmap and value proposition
  • Leverage data analytics, product metrics, user research, and competitive analysis to guide prioritization of product initiatives
  • Partner with Design, Data, and Technology teams to deliver large-scale initiatives
  • Collaborate with Risk, Controls, Compliance, and Legal partners to maintain a strong risk and control environment
  • Manage production support, issue resolution, and defect prioritization
  • Publish regular executive reports covering product health, industry trends, and the voice of the customer

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 7 years of experience in product management or a relevant domain area
  • Proven ability to lead product lifecycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
  • Advanced knowledge of digital payments and the product development lifecycle, design, and data analytics
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with Jira, Microsoft Office, and Confluence
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a cross-functional environment while managing multiple priorities and collaborating effectively across teams

  • Deep understanding of small business customers and their unique payment needs
  • Prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization
