About the Role

Proper Hospitality is seeking a dynamic and strategic Vice President, Revenue to lead and grow total revenue performance across our portfolio of luxury lifestyle hotels. This role requires a proven revenue leader with deep expertise in luxury and boutique hotel revenue management, a strong network of commercial and distribution partners, and a passion for building high-performing teams.

You will be accountable for the portfolio's overall revenue strategy, pricing and distribution execution, forecasting discipline, and the development of property-level revenue leaders. As a key member of our commercial leadership team, you will drive top-line growth, inspire cross-functional collaboration, and ensure a disciplined, guest-centric approach to revenue optimization that positions Proper for long-term success.

What You Will Work On

  • Lead enterprise revenue strategy across the portfolio with accountability for RevPAR, ADR, occupancy, total revenue, and profit contribution at every property.
  • Set and drive clear performance goals, define success metrics, and hold property-level Directors of Revenue accountable for execution and forecast accuracy.
  • Inspire and mentor a portfolio revenue team by injecting energy, promoting collaboration, and removing obstacles to performance.
  • Develop and execute pricing, segmentation, and channel mix strategies that align with each property's brand positioning and Proper's overall commercial vision.
  • Build and deepen strategic partnerships with key distribution partners, OTAs, GDS, consortia, wholesale, and luxury travel networks (Virtuoso, AMEX FHR, Signature, and others).
  • Oversee forecasting, budgeting, and demand calendar management, using advanced revenue analytics and revenue management systems to inform commercial planning and ownership reporting.
  • Lead total revenue management thinking across all revenue streams - rooms, F&B, spa, events, and ancillary - partnering with operations and the SVP of F&B to maximize outlet and group profitability.
  • Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Digital, and Brand leaders to drive an integrated commercial strategy and unified go-to-market plans.
  • Lead revenue strategy for new openings, conversions, and ramp-up properties, including pre-opening pricing, distribution setup, and stabilization planning.
  • Serve as a trusted thought partner to executive leadership, ownership groups, asset managers, and brand partners on revenue performance, market positioning, and growth opportunities.
  • Own the revenue management technology stack, including RMS, CRS, channel manager, and reporting tools, ensuring the right capabilities are in place to scale.
  • Champion a high-performance commercial culture focused on excellence, innovation, and accountability.
  • Lead with empathy and integrity, demonstrating high emotional intelligence, excellent presentation skills, and a strong ability to engage and inspire teams.

What You Will Bring

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree, HSMAI CRME, or related certification preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive revenue management experience in luxury or lifestyle hospitality, including multi-property oversight and direct accountability for portfolio top-line performance.
  • Proven success building and managing high-performing revenue teams across a portfolio of independent, soft-branded, or boutique luxury hotels.
  • Strong track record delivering results in competitive urban and resort markets, with experience navigating mixed ownership structures (independent, management agreement, joint venture).
  • Deep expertise across the following areas:
  • - Revenue strategy, pricing, and segmentation
  • - Distribution, channel mix, and OTA/GDS/wholesale management
  • - Forecasting, budgeting, and demand calendar discipline
  • - Total revenue management across rooms, F&B, spa, and ancillary
  • - Revenue management systems, CRS, and commercial technology

  • A strong leadership presence with the ability to drive clarity, create alignment, and inspire action across properties and corporate.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively across hotel teams, executive leadership, ownership groups, and brand partners.
