Vice President, Product Management - Clearing and Reconciliation, Network Products
Role Overview
This role will lead the strategy, development, and execution of Real-Time Clearing, Clearing on Behalf, and Next-Generation Reconciliation, playing a key role in delivering on Mastercard’s Immediacy Strategy and Vision 2030.
The position is critical to scaling clearing capabilities, accelerating innovation, and driving measurable revenue and network impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the Global Product Management Lead for Clearing and Reconciliation.
- Own the product strategy, roadmap, and execution for clearing programs and reconciliation capabilities.
- Drive product performance, adoption, and revenue growth across clearing offerings.
- Serve as a senior product voice and internal evangelist, aligning teams and leaders around product vision.
- Partner closely with Product Development, Network Operations, Go-To-Market,-Finance, and Technology teams to deliver roadmap outcomes.
- Lead the optimization and scaling of the Clearing Program and supporting services.
- Manage and mentor high-performing product management teams.
- Provide strategic insights based on customer needs, market trends, and network priorities.
All About You
- 10+ years of experience within Mastercard or the broader card payments ecosystem.
- Deep expertise in authorization, clearing, settlement, and reconciliation.
- Proven leader with experience managing complex, global product portfolios.
- Experience managing teams.
- Strong strategic thinker with ability to drive execution across matrixed teams.
- Confident communicator with senior stakeholder and customer-facing experience.
- Comfortable representing Mastercard in internal forums and industry engagements.
- Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree preferred.
In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. New York City, New York: $245,000 - $391,000 USD
Purchase, New York: $235,000 - $375,000 USD
