What You\'ll Do Day to Day:

As a key member of the product leadership team, the Vice President of Product will lead product strategy, feature innovation, and product development across LendingPoint\'s Payments Offering, including digital cards and disbursements.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Provide product leadership for a fast-growing and dynamic fintech startup.
  • Develop and innovate products by identifying potential marketplace needs through competitive intelligence, market research, customer feedback, and industry best practices.
  • Apply data expertise to understand customer needs and optimize levers to increase profitability for the company based on data and quantitative analyses.
  • Understand the fundamentals of product economics, develop new ideas, and test concepts back tested on data simulations.
  • Own and lead the product roadmap, working across the enterprise to comprehensively understand the company\'s strategies and effectively prioritize the feature release timetable that maximizes customer benefit.
  • Partner with external partners, marketing, finance, legal, customer experience, risk management, and technology, as needed.
  • The successful candidate will have deep knowledge and experience in payment processing, with a solid understanding of how different technologies work together to enable a successful product launch.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in a related field of study.
  • Advanced degree in data/analytics related field preferred, e.g. Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Economics, Business, Data Science, or equivalent work experience
  • Experience working with software developers and engineers, with a strong ability to translate product requirements succinctly and ensure technology deliverables are built with high quality
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly in an environment with evolving business demands
  • Firm understanding of Agile product development
