Full Job Description
What You'll Get to Do

You'll take the enterprise reins on sourcing strategy & procurement performance across a truly vertically integrated operation, spanning raw glass & primary aluminum billet, extrusion & fabrication inputs, overseas-sourced finished hardware, & indirect/capital spend across a global distribution network. This is a build-and-lead mandate: you'll set the strategy, stand up category management & procurement operations disciplines, lead global sourcing & trade compliance, and grow a high-performing team, all while sitting on the Operations & Supply Chain leadership team.

Job responsibilities include:
  • Develop & execute a comprehensive enterprise procurement strategy that fuels growth, profitability, and supply continuity across manufacturing & distribution
  • Lead strategic sourcing across direct materials, indirect spend, logistics, equipment, services & capital expenditures to drive down total cost of ownership
  • Own global sourcing & trade compliance for hardware & distribution categories, including HTS classification, duty/tariff strategy, anti-dumping exposure, and CBP/BIS/OFAC adherence
  • Lead duty mitigation strategies (foreign trade zones, tariff engineering, supplier diversification) & navigate evolving trade policy, including Section 232/301 dynamics
  • Manage strategic supplier relationships & negotiate enterprise agreements, commercial terms, rebate structures & long-term partnerships at the executive level
  • Build supplier risk programs, scorecards & dual/multi-sourcing strategies to protect continuity of supply
  • Partner with Finance & Planning to improve working capital through inventory optimization & sourcing efficiencies
  • Implement procurement technologies & spend analytics across multiple ERP environments (including SAP) to improve visibility & decision-making
  • Build & lead a high-performing procurement organization, championing ethical sourcing, supplier diversity & sustainability along the way
  • Define & own enterprise procurement KPIs: total landed cost, cost savings, supplier performance, inventory turns, working capital, freight/duty spend & compliance
What We Are Looking For

We're looking for a seasoned procurement executive who can move fluidly between the plant floor & the port, someone who's just as comfortable driving a make-vs-buy analysis on extrusion inputs as they are negotiating with an overseas hardware supplier. You bring:
  • 15+ years of progressive procurement, sourcing, or category management leadership, with significant time in vertically integrated, multi-site industrial or manufacturing environments
  • Proven success leading enterprise procurement organizations within manufacturing, industrial products, building materials, or distribution
  • Global sourcing experience across Asia, Europe & Mexico, with hands-on ownership of trade compliance, customs, tariffs/duties & international logistics
  • A track record managing high-complexity, multi-category spend supporting 10,000+ SKUs
  • Working knowledge of multiple ERP systems, including SAP, for spend analytics & supplier management
  • Strong financial acumen with a demonstrated history of delivering measurable cost savings, margin improvement & working-capital gains
  • Experience leading procurement transformation, category management programs & tech implementations
  • A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Finance, Operations, or a related field

Nice to have: an MBA, experience in glass fabrication or aluminum extrusion, familiarity with construction-aligned demand, foreign trade zone/tariff engineering experience, APICS/ASCM, CPSM, Lean/Six Sigma, or customs broker credentials, & bilingual English/Spanish skills.

We welcome candidates from all backgrounds who bring the strategic depth & operational grit this role demands. If your experience doesn't check every box but you know you can lead at this level, we want to hear from you

What OBE Offers You
  • Benefits that benefit you - industry competitive benefits at the lowest cost to the employee
  • Work-life balance - PTO and holidays, including floating holidays you can choose
  • Compensation that rewards your hard work - A pay-for-performance culture with potential for annual raises and bonuses
  • Training - We will equip you with the knowledge and skills you need to succeed
