• Represent RidgeLake and Apogem at industry conferencesand other external gatherings, building visibility and relationships within the GP stakes and private markets community.

GP Services & Partner GP Support (Core - primary focus)
• Advise partner GPs on investor relations, marketing, fundraising strategy, investor targeting, LP segmentation, and capital formation readiness.
• Help strengthen GP infrastructure, including CRM systems, diligence processes, reporting, data rooms, and LP communications.
• Develop playbooks, templates, benchmarks, and best practices to enhance capital formation and investor engagement across the GP portfolio.
• Facilitate strategic introductions between partner GPs and prospective LPs and track fundraising progress and feedback.

Portfolio Reporting, Valuation & Investment Monitoring (Secondary - analytical support)
• Help coordinate quarterly investor letters and portfolio commentary, including numbers, narrative, and process management.
• Maintain portfolio KPIs, dashboards, and GP data collection processes.
• Assist with periodic platform, fund, and asset-level reviews, including performance, fundraising, and strategic initiatives.
• Support financial diligence of partner firms, including reporting accuracy, distributions, and contract compliance.
• Monitor public comparables, private transaction activity, IPO markets, cost of capital, and other valuation inputs.
• Contribute to capital planning, portfolio construction, cash flow forecasting, GP commitments, leverage limits, and exposure analysis.

Transactions & Infrastructure (Secondary - as needed)
• Assist with initial and exit transaction materials, IC analysis, financial diligence, projections, KPIs, and GP-facing pitch materials.
• Participate in select manager diligence meetings and support sourcing through targeted introductions.
• Support reporting, systems, process buildout, benchmarking, back-office infrastructure, and other GP Stakes platform priorities as needed.

Candidate Profile

Required
• 7 to 12 years of experience in investor relations, fundraising, capital formation, placement agent work, or private markets advisory - gained at a private equity firm, GP stakes investor, placement agent, fund-of-funds, or asset management IR team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated ability to develop compelling, polished investor-facing materials.
• Direct experience with fundraising, investor diligence, DDQs, data rooms, LP communications, and investor meetings.
• Commercial mindset with the ability to build relationships and work effectively across investment teams, LPs, consultants, placement agents, and GP management teams.
• Working understanding of GP business models, asset management economics, fundraising cycles, and institutional investor decision-making.

• Prior exposure to valuation, financial diligence, or IC-level analysis (e.g., from a PE associate/VP, credit, or fund monitoring background).
• Familiarity with GP stakes or minority-investing structures specifically.
• Experience with portfolio monitoring tools, CRM platforms, or data room administration.

Practical Details
• Reports to the Managing Director on the PE GP Stakes team; works in close daily coordination with Apogem's central IR, Distribution, and Marketing functions.
