Position Overview:

As a key member of the MCP leadership team, the Vice President, Solution Developer Market is responsible for setting the strategic direction, revenue generation, and gross profit responsibilities of the solution developer market that consist of the MCP Accelerate program, MCP's Solution Studio and the Biopharma, Med Device and Payor programs. This role involves collaborating closely with the COO to align strategies with broader Mayo Clinic goals. The Vice President will lead and manage a dynamic team focused on driving sales, forming strategic partnerships, and optimizing market growth for MCP.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategies to expand the client base within the Solution Developer market.
  • Work closely with the sales team to establish and achieve targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations to enhance market presence.
  • Tailor marketing and sales approaches to address the unique needs and challenges of each target market.
  • Work with MCP leadership to define a comprehensive go-to-market strategy.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of strategic packaging, including pricing model, initiatives for Mayo Clinic Platform's Solutions Studio.
  • Collaborate with the product, technology, and services teams to ensure that packaged products and services align with market needs and industry trends.
  • Establish mechanisms for gathering and incorporating customer feedback into the packaging and product development processes.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop differentiated positioning strategies for Solution Developer Programs.
  • Collaborate with finance and legal to ensure the viability of any programs.
  • Develop and manage budgets, ensuring financial sustainability and growth.
  • Establish a market intelligence function to gather, analyze, and disseminate relevant information on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
  • Represent Mayo Clinic and MCP's complex array of products and services effectively.
  • Demonstrate the ability to communicate technology- and data-based product/solutions to advance medical care.
  • Define clear objectives and key performance indicators for the sales enablement function.
  • Oversee the creation and management of sales collateral, presentations, and training materials to equip the sales team with the tools needed for effective customer engagement.
  • Provide guidance on the utilization of CRM systems, sales automation tools, and other technologies to streamline sales processes.


Qualifications

Minimum Education and/or Experience Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field and an MBA postgraduate degree.
  • 10+ years' Health Care Industry experience in sales, product, marketing, and operations.
  • 5+ years' experience in Product development and agile processes.
  • Strong customer strategy skills.
  • Ability to take strategy to successful execution.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with customers and constituents.
  • Must have the ability to promote and explain technology initiatives to business leaders outside of the technology organization and to external partners and customers.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to mentor others.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the healthcare technology industry and new technology opportunities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
