Recruiter Contact:Vice President, Oncology Service LinePenn State Health CorporationHershey, PennsylvaniaThe Opportunity:The Administrative Vice President, Oncology Service Line serves as the senior administrative leader for the Oncology Service Line and, in partnership with the Physician Vice President, Oncology Service Line, is accountable for the strategic direction, operational performance, financial stewardship, quality, growth, and integration of the Oncology service line across Penn State Health.
This executive leader collaborates with hospital, medical group, academic, and system leadership to develop and execute short- and long-term strategies aligned with Penn State Health's mission, vision, and strategic priorities. The role advances patient-centered care while supporting the organization's clinical, research, education, and community service missions.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):- Master's degree in Business Administration, Health Administration, Public Health, Nursing Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related business or healthcare field is required.
- Minimum of ten (10) years of progressive healthcare leadership experience, including service line development, strategic planning, operations, outreach, or market development.
- Minimum of seven (7) years of leadership responsibility within a healthcare organization and demonstrated experience in financial management, operational performance, and partnership with physician leadership.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):- Experience in an academic medical center, integrated health system, or large teaching environment.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary clinical programs, ambulatory operations, hospital operations, or a comparable service line is also preferred, along with demonstrated success advancing growth, quality improvement, access, and operational transformation.
- Specialty-specific education (DNP, PhD), certification (ACHE, AONL, ANCC), or leadership experience may be identified as preferred based on the assigned service line.
