Full Job Description
We have an opportunity available for a Vice President of Supply Chain to work within our Supply Chain Team. The Vice President of Supply Chain will be responsible for providing enterprise leadership for TAKKT Foodservices' end-to-end supply chain strategy and execution. This role oversees purchasing and inventory management, demand planning and forecasting, warehouse operations, freight management, and import compliance. Working closely with Finance, Merchandising, Sales, suppliers, and logistics partners, this leader will drive profitable growth, improve operational performance, and deliver annual cost savings through scalable processes, metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What you will do:
  • Lead and execute the company's end-to-end supply chain strategy in alignment with business and financial objectives
  • Oversee integrated planning across purchasing, inventory management, forecasting, transportation, warehousing, and product flow
  • Develop strategies to improve inventory productivity, product availability, working capital efficiency, and forecast accuracy
  • Lead purchasing, replenishment, inventory optimization, lifecycle planning, and aged inventory reduction initiatives
  • Partner with distribution and warehouse leadership to optimize operational performance, capacity, and inventory accuracy
  • Manage inbound and outbound freight operations, carrier relationships, and transportation cost optimization efforts
  • Ensure compliance with import regulations, customs requirements, and applicable trade and transportation laws
  • Develop key performance metrics and dashboards to monitor service, inventory, freight, compliance, and cost-savings performance
  • Drive continuous improvement through data analysis, process improvement, technology, and automation initiatives

What we need:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, Logistics, Finance, or a related field
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in supply chain, logistics, distribution, inventory management, purchasing, or operations
  • Experience leading integrated supply chain functions within a distribution, wholesale, retail, manufacturing, or multi-site fulfillment environment

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Experience managing international freight, import processes, and trade compliance requirements
  • Advanced proficiency with ERP, warehouse management, transportation management, and business intelligence tools
  • Professional certifications such as APICS/ASCM, CSCMP, Lean, Six Sigma, or customs/trade compliance certifications
  • Demonstrated success developing supply chain strategies that improve service, profitability, inventory productivity, and operational efficiency
