Full Job Description
Role Overview

The VP of Product & Delivery owns and continuously improves Skaled's people, product and delivery operating system. This role turns Skaled's expertise into defined, repeatable products and services; establishes how those products are delivered consistently; and owns the people, process, and technology-including AI, automation, and operating intelligence-that enable and scale the model.

The role sits at the intersection of product, delivery, and technology. These are not separate responsibilities: the products Skaled takes to market require a defined delivery methodology; that methodology requires systems and technology that make it repeatable; and those systems must generate the visibility and intelligence needed to understand whether delivery is working, where risk exists, and how the model should evolve.

The immediate priority is to productize Skaled's core offerings and build an A+ delivery system around them by reducing reliance on bespoke scope, individual consultant memory, manual follow-up, inconsistent execution, and disconnected tools. This role owns both the underlying methodology and playbooks and the technology that supports, automates, and measures delivery.

As the leader of the delivery organization, the VP of Product & Delivery leads, manages, and holds accountable consultants, program managers, and the talent manager, while owning staffing, utilization, capacity, and delivery economics. As a member of the leadership team, this role also ensures that signals related to client health, consultant execution, retention, expansion, staffing, and revenue risk reach the right business owners early enough to act.
Core Responsibilities
1. Lead, Manage, and Accountable
  • Lead, manage, and hold accountable the delivery organization, including consultants, program managers, and the talent manager.
  • Set clear expectations, roles, decision rights, operating cadence, performance standards, and development priorities across the delivery organization.
  • Ensure each team member understands what they own, how success is measured, and how their work connects to client outcomes, delivery quality, and Skaled's broader business goals.
  • Coach and develop delivery leaders and team members, address performance gaps directly, and build a healthy, high-performing organization capable of executing Skaled's delivery standard at scale.
  • Create accountability across consultants, program management, account leadership, Operations, and executives so ownership is clear and delivery issues are surfaced and resolved quickly.
2. Product and Service Offering Strategy
  • Own the translation of Skaled's methodology, expertise, diagnostics, and workflows into defined, repeatable products and services that are easier to sell, staff, deliver, prove, retain, and expand.
  • Define each offering's sold promise, methodology, scope, outputs, Definition of Done, proof of value, delivery requirements, and expansion path.
  • Productize the repeatable approximately 80% of Skaled's work while preserving a clearly governed custom lane for the genuinely bespoke approximately 20%.
  • Partner with the CEO and Revenue, Marketing, and Operations leaders to package and commercialize offerings, ensuring that what is sold can be delivered consistently, technically, operationally, and profitably.
3. Delivery Operating System, Methodology & Quality
  • Own the end-to-end operating model for how Skaled delivers its products and services-from sold promise through setup, delivery, adoption, proof, retention, and expansion.
  • Establish and maintain Skaled's standard delivery methodology, standards of excellence, Definitions of Done, acceptance criteria, quality-review process, scope controls, and delivery-health standards.
  • Build and maintain the operating processes, playbooks, workflows, checklists, templates, and handoffs that consultants and program managers execute against, with clear accountability across delivery, account leadership, Operations, and executives.
  • Own the library of standardized SOW and delivery-execution templates for each product and pod model, keeping them current as Skaled's methodology evolves.
  • Monitor adherence and address inconsistent execution, manual follow-up, side-channel communication, rework, and operational rescue that create client risk or hidden work.
4. Technology, AI & Technical Solution Integrity
  • Own the technology strategy, technical solution design, and ecosystem that power, measure, and scale Skaled's product and delivery operating system.
  • Serve as the primary technology subject-matter expert for delivery and client solutions, translating business and client requirements into feasible technical approaches, dependencies, implementation plans, and standards.
  • Validate the feasibility, scope, requirements, risks, and Definition of Done for technology-enabled components before they become client commitments; challenge or re-scope work that cannot be delivered reliably or to Skaled's standards.
  • Define AI standards and approved workflows across client work and internal delivery operations, including requirements for quality review, accuracy, source validation, client context, risk management, and human oversight.
  • Own and continuously improve Skaled's Consultant, PM, Engagement, and Leadership Command Centers, automations, integrations, dashboards, and supporting infrastructure so they produce actionable operating intelligence rather than disconnected reporting.
5. Delivery Performance, Economics & Continuous Improvement
  • Own engagement staffing by matching the right people and capabilities to each pod and engagement, managing the bench against demand, and keeping the talent pipeline ahead of forecasted needs.
  • Own capacity planning, utilization targets, pacing, and delivery economics across the organization, with clear visibility into effort, profitability, and resource constraints.
  • Connect engagement health, client outcomes, consultant performance, client participation, commercial exposure, retention, and expansion signals to revenue forecasting, staffing, capacity, profitability, and product evolution.
  • Identify recurring friction, determine the root cause, and translate lessons from live engagements into continuous improvements across offerings, methodology, technology, AI workflows, enablement, staffing, and commercial structure.
  • Integrate relevant partners, tools, resources, and bench or offshore capacity into delivery when they improve quality, capability, scalability, or economics; translate partner and market intelligence back into product and delivery decisions.
  • Own the feedback loop between delivery and the broader business, ensuring the right intelligence reaches the right functional owners early enough to act and improve scalability, margin, and client outcomes.
Success Metrics
  • Productized offerings with a clear repeatable-80% / custom-20% model that are easier to sell, staff, deliver, prove, retain, and expand.
  • Greater consistency and quality across engagements through adoption of Skaled's standard methodology, playbooks, templates, Definitions of Done, quality standards, and operating rhythms.
  • Improved visibility into engagement health, delivery risk, client participation, commercial exposure, staffing needs, and expansion opportunity so leadership can act earlier.
  • A continuously improving technology and AI ecosystem that makes delivery more repeatable, measurable, and scalable while maintaining appropriate quality controls and human oversight.
  • A healthy, high-performing delivery organization with clear accountability, strong consultant and program-manager readiness, and consistent adherence to Skaled standards.
  • Improved staffing accuracy, capacity planning, utilization, delivery profitability, and bench management, with talent supply aligned to demand.
  • Stronger cross-functional feedback loops connecting delivery and client signals to retention, expansion, revenue forecasting, staffing, profitability, product evolution, and leadership decisions.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years in delivery, professional services, or consulting, including 5+ years leading a delivery organization (directly managing consultants and program managers).
  • A track record of productizing services - turning bespoke, expertise-driven work into repeatable offerings.
  • Experience building a delivery operating system: methodology, playbooks, templates, and quality standards.
  • Ownership of delivery economics - utilization, gross margin, capacity, and bench management.
  • Technology-forward leadership: you've stood up delivery tooling and defined AI standards and workflows, and can be the technical SME who validates what's feasible.
  • Executive presence and a track record partnering across CEO, Revenue, Marketing, and Operations.
  • GTM/RevOps domain experience and fluency with the modern GTM stack (HubSpot, Salesforce).
  • Background in services-led B2B SaaS, a GTM/RevOps consultancy, a systems integrator, or a productized agency.
  • Experience scaling a delivery organization through high growth, and building AI-enabled delivery tooling.
