Vice President of Operations & Supply Chain

About the Role

Olive & June is seeking a strategic, highly analytical, and execution-focused Vice President of Operations & Supply Chain to lead our end-to-end operations organization during the next phase of growth. This executive leader will be responsible for building and optimizing the operational infrastructure required to scale a high-growth omnichannel beauty business while maintaining exceptional service levels, quality standards, and profitability.

Reporting to the executive leadership team, the Vice President of Operations & Supply Chain will oversee all aspects of operational execution, including supply and demand planning, forecasting, sourcing, supply chain, logistics, warehouse operations, inventory management, quality, and vendor partnerships. This leader will also play a critical role in shaping the long-term operational strategy of the business, ensuring Olive & June is positioned to scale efficiently and profitably.

Success in this role requires strong cross-functional leadership and the ability to partner closely with Product Development, Finance, Marketing, Sales, Retail, Creative, Customer Experience, and Executive Leadership to align operational capabilities with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Leadership
  • Lead and develop the Operations organization, providing strategic direction, mentorship, and performance management across planning, sourcing, logistics, inventory, quality, and fulfillment.
  • Build a high-performing, scalable operations team with clear accountability, strong processes, and a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Establish KPIs and reporting to measure operational health, service levels, and business


Supply & Demand Planning
  • Own the company's integrated supply and demand planning


  • Develop accurate forecasting models in partnership with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Product teams to optimize inventory levels while supporting growth objectives.
  • Drive monthly S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) processes that align demand forecasts with production capacity and financial goals.
  • Balance customer service levels with working capital


Supply Chain & Logistics
  • Oversee global supply chain operations from manufacturing through customer
  • Manage inbound and outbound logistics, transportation, customs, freight optimization, and warehouse operations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve speed, efficiency, resilience, and cost throughout the supply chain.
  • Ensure operational excellence across all fulfillment partners and distribution


Inventory Management
  • Own inventory strategy across DTC, retail, and wholesale
  • Optimize inventory health, turns, safety stock, and allocation while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory.
  • Partner with Finance to improve inventory forecasting accuracy and working capital


Vendor & Supplier Management
  • Lead strategic sourcing initiatives and negotiate commercial agreements with manufacturing partners, suppliers, freight providers, and third-party logistics
  • Develop strong vendor relationships that improve quality, innovation, cost, and
  • Identify and qualify secondary suppliers and manufacturing partners to reduce risk and improve supply chain resilience.


Quality
  • Oversee product quality standards across manufacturing and
  • Partner with Product Development and Regulatory teams to ensure consistent product quality and compliance.
  • Develop systems that proactively identify quality issues while driving continuous


Strategic Growth & Scale
  • Develop the long-term operational roadmap required to support the company's future
  • Build scalable operational systems, processes, and infrastructure capable of supporting increased retail distribution, international expansion, and new product categories.
  • Lead strategic capacity planning and operational scenario
  • Drive business continuity planning and supply chain risk
  • Drive organizational change management, process standardization, data governance, and cross-functional stakeholder engagement to support successful ERP deployment and adoption.


Cost Optimization & Profitability
  • Identify and execute strategic cost savings initiatives that improve gross margin and operating profitability without compromising quality or customer experience.
  • Evaluate sourcing strategies, freight optimization, inventory management, packaging efficiencies, and operational process improvements to unlock savings.
  • Partner closely with Finance to monitor operational performance and margin improvement opportunities.


Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Serve as a trusted strategic partner across Product Development, Brand Marketing, Sales, Retail, Finance, Customer Experience, and Executive Leadership.
  • Ensure cross-functional alignment between product launches, inventory availability, retail expansion, and operational capabilities.
  • Influence decision-making through data, operational expertise, and proactive


Qualifications
  • 12+ years of progressive operations leadership experience, with significant experience in consumer products, beauty, CPG, or other high-growth omnichannel businesses.
  • Proven experience leading operations within a high SKU-count business, managing broad product assortments and complex inventory across multiple channels.
  • Demonstrated success scaling operations through periods of rapid
  • Deep expertise in demand planning, forecasting, inventory management, sourcing, logistics, warehousing, manufacturing, and supply chain optimization.
  • Strong experience leading Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP)
  • Track record of successfully negotiating vendor and manufacturing
  • Experience developing secondary sourcing strategies and building resilient global supply
  • Proven ability to identify and execute strategic cost savings initiatives that improve
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing inventory investments, margins, and operational budgets.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate data into strategic
